Aquatech Increases its Presence in Europe[ April 2010 ]

As a part of its continuing global expansion, Aquatech is pleased to announce the establishment of Aquatech B.V., a fully owned subsidiary in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Mr. Peter Dencher, a top executive in the European Water Technology Market, has taken on the leadership role as Managing Director for Aquatech B.V. Mr. Dencher has extensive experience in the water industry, having successfully run Christ Holland for nearly 20 years, and subsequently Biothane Netherlands. Peter will be responsible to build the Aquatech B.V. organization to support European and African activities for Aquatech.

Aquatech plans to increase market share in the European and African markets through its formula of Technology Leadership and Performance Excellence. Aquatech B.V. will provide excellent support and service to its clients while delivering the advanced technology solutions that have helped Aquatech become a world leader in Desalination, Water Reuse and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).

Aquatech has a long history of success in Europe and Africa. One recent example of this is that the company has completed and is operating five high profile FGD Waste Water ZLD projects for ENEL in Italy; this effort being one of the largest ZLD programs in the world. Aquatech B.V. plans to build upon this success to be the key technology player in water reuse and ZLD in Europe.

Aquatech B.V. will also focus on providing local support in Europe to Aquatech’s key Petrochemical, Oil &Gas, and Power clients, as well as work to solve water scarcity challenges in key water starved regions such as North and South Africa.
