We manufacture a wide assortment of blast hole drills (Roller-bit drilling rigs, type SBSh) used during opencast mining operations. Manufactured at NKMZ, the blast hole drills are designed for drilling vertical and inclined blast holes of 250 to 700 mm in dia and up to 32 m in depth in the areas that are dry, water-saturated, monolithic and jointed rocks with the hardness of 6 to 20 according to prof. M.M. Protodyakonov's scale.

Design features:

• Open P-shaped steel structure of the mast enables easy servicing

• Squirrel cage variable frequency motor is installed on the rig swivel head

• Bore rods are made of tubes with 219 mm in dia. And 12 mm thread pitch

• Thyristor - operated smooth-start compressor is provided

• Planetary reduction gears & squirrel cage variable frequency motor installed in the motion drive unit

• Winch-type feed drive is equipped with "Rexroth" MP-1800A hydraulic motor to provide continuous bore rod feed

• Hydraulic cylinders are provided to arrest the mast during inclined drilling.

• Comfortable operator's cab is installed

Models:

Reverse circulation sampling drills with models from 300 mtrs to 450 mtrs capacity. Top drive  system, with state of the art hydraulic’s and sampling system. An auto rod handler can be offered as an option. Air booster can be offered on request.

Exploration drills models available from 300 mtr depth capacity with’N’ series bits going upto 2000 mtrs depth capability.

Features state of the art multispeed hydrostatic drill head, wireline winch, main pull back winch and self energising rod clamp’s. Rod pull upto 30’ can be offered. All models are available as skid, steel track or truck mounted options.

Models:-

SP-LRD-350 :An all hydraulic ,top drive drill, with 20’ rod handling and capacity to drill upto 350 mtrs using 4.5” dia drill pipe, with either a suitable compressor or mud-pump. Pull back 10 tons.

SP-LRD-450 : An all hydraulic, top drive drill, with 20’ rod handling and capacity to drill upto 450 mtrs using 4.5” dia drill pipe, with either a suitable compressor or mud-pump. Pull back 14 tons

SP-600-RD : An all hydraulic, top drive drill, with 20’ and optionally 30’ rod handling and capacity to drill upto 600 mtrs using 4.5” dia drill pipe, with either a suitable compressor or mud-pump. Pull back 30 tons.

SP-1500-RD : An all hydraulic, heavy duty, top drive drill, with 20’ and optionally 30’ rod handling and capacity to drill upto 1500 mtrs using 4.5” dia drill pipe, with either a suitable compressor’s and two stage booster, or mud-pump. Can handle range III casing for CBM work. Pull back 45 tons. Can offer option upto 60 tons.
