| | Water Clarification SystemWater use being high in a drinking plant, fresh water intake must be minimized and recycled water cleaned of suspended solids must be used. To achieve this, in co-operation with M/s Kadant Lamort, we offer state of art “Poseidon” dissolved air flotation (DAF) Water clarification system.
Working of it is as follow:
Filtrate to be treated is injected with a coagulant mixture and saturated with compressed air just before the mixture is fed to the classifier. The combination of coagulant and air bubbles agglomerate the ink particles and other suspended solids and float them to the surface of the clarifier. A skimmer skims off the solids and pushes them towards a sludge pump which pumps them to the sludge collection tank. Clarified water is pumped to storage for reuse in the de-inking plant.
