Polyurethane Systems

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Polyurethane sealers and top coats consist, as a rule, of two components "A" and "B". The component "A" con
sists of resins, bindings and thinner. A thinner for polyurethane varnishes should contain no alcohols and petrol.
For PU products thinners, recommended by the manufacturers are used. It is necessary to avoid using of nitro
thinners. The dry rest together with a curing agent "B" is equal 40_43%. A layer of top coat up to 300 mc. Amount
of layers up to 5. Chemical resistance of polyurethane products is much higher, than nitrocellulose products.
Durability: 95% is achieved for 24 hours, 100% in 3 weeks.

Is used for creation of priming adhesion and varnishes with finish films, papers from finish effect,
plastic.
The product should be applicated on melamine paper by spraying (diluted on 100% 200% by thinner DPU809) or by roller method (diluted on 20 50f% by thinner DPU809). The high speed of drying allows using it for coating in painting lines of UV drying. As the viability of the product is low, we advise to prepare the product in small parties for coating, to supportconstant viscosity 30 35», gradually adding polyurethane diluent. The next layer LMK should be appli
cated a maximum in 4 hours (by drying at 20°C), in the case has passed more time the easy polishing is necessary. We advise to conduct preliminary testing by using a new kind of film, the adhesion quality depends on quality of used paper.
APPLICATION METHOD: spraying or rolling.

 EXPENDITURE: 70 120g/m2 on one layer. In 2 layers
  with an interval 60 90 minutes.
 DRYING at 20°C: dry from a dust in 20 minutes.
We recommend to coat in 1 or some layers (especial

FPU35 _ polyurethane primer with good characteristics of sanding, facility of application, speed of dryingand filling ability. FPU35 should be applicated by spraying (usually AIRMIX) as manually, and by automatic systems. It is possible to apply up to 2 layers.

The first layer dries about 1 hour at 20 C. After that it
is possible to apply the next layer without sanding, or
with slight sanding in 1,5 hours.

Polyurethane sealer of fast drying, intended for wood breeds with open and closed pores, with viability, which can proceed in favorable conditions till 12 hours (temperature 20°C, dilution 30%).
