About Us

Art Dezire was born out of years of passion for "Art" by the promoters, with a desire to bring Indian Art to the doorstep of art lovers across the globe. Art Dezire was conceived in late 2008 with an aim to nurture artists with immense potential to make their mark in the intensely competitive world of art. This mission led the promoters to visit various galleries, art schools, art exhibitions across various parts of India with an aim to help artists from these locations to bring their work collectively in front of the world through the medium of internet. By early 2009, this dream had fructified into "Art Dezire" a one stop art gallery, for Indian contemporary art. Art Dezire, currently based out of Delhi, is one of the most frequented online Indian art galleries.

Each piece of artwork exhibited on the site, is a combined result of the artists' experiences, passion, inner thoughts, creativity, values, style and learnings. Art Dezire shares this passion and provides a platform to these talented artists to showcase their artworks and paintings to the global community. While it is very easy to market artworks of reputed artists, it is challenging to promote emerging artists who have great potential. It is our endeavor to nurture these artists and convert them to "Brand Tomorrow". Art Dezire follows stringent norms in selection of its artists. The intense process of selection and vetting of artists and their artwork ensure that we interact only with the best and artists with potential get a truly fitting place to demonstrate their artwork.

Art Dezire offers a unique shopping experience, where buyers get access to a unique collection of figurative, abstract, landscape and still life paintings, on a variety of mediums, by a wide variety of artists from across India. Art Dezire aims at making the artwork accessible to buyers at a very reasonable price, as close to the artists price as possible. Art Dezire also provides the buyers with an authenticity certificate, thus guaranteeing every work sold through the portal.
