About UsAsha Electronics was established in the year 1982 as a Product Solution Enterprise. Manufacturing activities commenced in 1985 with audio products at the State-of-the-Art plant at Bombay. In 1989 Philips audited Asha Electronics Bombay plant and entered into an arrangement for manufacturing Philips Audio range of Products at Asha Electronics facilities. Asha Electronics refined its manufacturing processes and achieved ISO certification, first among all Philips Co-makers. As a very satisfied customer Philips added its domestic appliances product range also. Asha Electronics started manufacturing DAP products for Philips India Limited from 1994. In 1999, to participate in the ensuing telecom revolution, Asha Electronics diversified into making Telecom Equipment such as Basic Telephones and Feature Phones. By 2009, Asha Electronics has expanded its business activities and modernized its manufacturing plants and now offers its services as a full-fledged Electronics Manufacturing Services ( EMS ) provider in India.
The first factory spread over 7600 sq. ft was set up in the year 1985 at MIDC, Andheri in Mumbai, very close to India’s premier Electronics Export Zone SEEPZ offering Industrial eco system benefits to its customers. The second factory spread over 9000 sq ft was set up in Daman in 1995 offering Tax and Octroi benefits to its customers. |
