			Product Profile Silica gel is an amorphous form of silicon dioxide which is synthetically produced in the form of hard irregular beads. Silica gel has the physical adsorption of water vapour into its internal pores. Even when saturated with water vapour, silica gel still has the appearance of a dry product, its shape unchanged. A microporous structure of interlocking cavaties gives a very high surface area(800square meters per gram). Silica gel has many qualities that recommend it as as desiccant. It can be regenerated and reused if required. It possess an indefinite shell life provided stored in air tight conditions.
