Know Us

Based in Peenya industrial area of Bangalore, we started with manufacture of wooden pallets leveraging our expertise in wood / timber treatment and seasoning.

Initially, we manufactured wooden pallets conforming to various BIS standards and later on, adopted international standards as required under ISPM 15 standards ( 15th article of the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures ) of the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) of the FAO.

To meet our customers requirements for alternatives to wooden pallets, we developed metal pallets, paper pallets and plywood pallets, which in turn was based on various shipment modes, load bearing capacities, destination country import regulations and GMP standards. 

Now, depending upon our customers requirement, we offer a wide range of pallets and pallet related accessories including pallet collars, stillages, dunnages, metal collapsible cages, paper pallet runners, plywood housing on pallets… the list goes on….

That’s why -  we now, with pride, call ourselves ‘the pallet plant ‘ – your single window vendor for all your pallet requirements.

ASPALCO  pallet fabrication and treatment procedures conform to the following BIS standards.

We respect our customers  in-house quality policy and put all efforts to adhere to the same.
This does not mean we do not have a quality programme of our own – Each pallet / product is subjected to a strict three tier inspection – raw material, fabricating procedures / workmanship and final finishing / asthetic appearance before dispatch. 
This way, we have been able to develop a fool proof methodology of manufacturing pallets with near zero defects / rejections. 





  Material and Procedures
ASPALCO  manufactures high quality wooden pallets using material and procedures mentioned below  to cater to all kinds of usage.

Stringent quality norms as laid by Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Plant  Protection - Quarantine and storage, Government of India,  EPAL, AQIS and NWPCA are  followed for export consignments. Treatment procedures are as approved by Institute of Wood Science and Technology. Bangalore. Toxic and banned chemicals are not used thereby ensuring safety for the pallet handler and applicator. Treatment methods are updated regularly based on research done by wood scientists.

  Environment
Conservation of forests of the earth is no doubt the need of the hour.

In short, more forests – more carbon absorption – lesser global warming.

Our dependence on plantation based timber such as Gravillea robusta ( Silver oak ), Hevea brasilensis ( Rubber wood ), Acacia species and lately  imported Pinus radiata ( Pine wood ) would go a long way in doing our bit to save the forests of the earth.

We, at ASPALCO, encourage development and usage of perpetual ( read renewable ) forests to solve the problem of felling forest timber for pallet making.






  Inventory Management
We have a stock verification process in place for select customers who have placed blanket orders on us.

We maintain a safety stock of raw material / finished products at all times to ensure production and dispatch of flash orders are met without loss of valuable time.

Our JIT deliveries also ensures minimum inventory at our clients site. 




  Innovations
'Thinking out the box' solutions we have provided include water / acid resistant wooden pallets for storage purposes, pallet blocks made of compressed saw dust and composite materials ( for minimum moisture content ), metal spacers instead of wooden blocks, corrugated Polypropylene sheets pallet, honeycomb core paper box ( for small electronic equipments ).
