About Us

Aswin Associates is a Partnership firm which started its operations in the year 1995. It consists of three partners, viz., Shri. G. Balakrishna Pillai, (Managing Partner), Smt. Usha Balakrishnan (Partner) & Shri. Aswin Balakrishnan (Partner).

We are a professionally managed unit with a team of experienced personnel in finance, processing & exports.
Our factory is ideally located in Cochin, with proximity to the Cochin Fisheries Harbour - the main harbour centre in the State of Kerala, and the Cochin Port. The full fledged processing facility is equipped with Blast Freezers and Contact Plate Freezer. The products include Fresh/Chilled and Frozen seafoods. A wide range of fishes & fishery products are processed and exported by the unit. We have a fleet of insulated trucks.

Quality Policy / Processes

We have an in-house laboratory equipped with the required facilities to carry out the advanced tests like microbiological and chemical analysis of seafood. All the products are subjected to microbiological analysis for factors such as TPC, Staphylococcus Aureus, E.Coli., Salmonella and Vibrio Cholerae.
The laboratory is controlled by qualified and competent technologists approved by the Export Inspection Council of India (EIC). We have implemented an HACCP based quality management system to ensure absolute safety of the food.
Top priority is always imparted in maintaining the quality of our products.

Team / Manpower

Shri. G. Balakrishna Pillai, the Managing Partner and Chief Executive of the firm is a graduate and has been consistently associated with marine products exports for the past 30 years. He is well equipped with ample knowledge, experience and expertise in seafood procurement, processing and exports. He is assisted by a team of experienced personnel in finance, processing & exports.
Shri. Aswin Balakrishnan, Partner, who is professionally qualified with M.Tech. in Computer Science, and Smt. Usha Balakrishnan, Partner, are very active in assisting the Chief Executive in his day-to-day affairs of the unit.
