MIG Welding Benefits give all position welding and there is less operator skill. Longer welds can be made without stopping and starting and there is minimal cleaning required after wards. Shielding gas makes the arc plasma and stabilizes the arc on the metal that is being welded There are three primary metal transfer modes: The primary shielding gasses used are: Argon Argon - 1 to 5% Oxygen Argon - 3 to 25% CO2 Argon/Helium CO2 is also used in its pure form in some MIG welding processes. However, in some applications the presence of CO2 in the shielding gas may adversely affect the mechanical properties of the weld.

600A MIG Welder |

|
 |
| MIG and flux cored welding offer advantages over other welding processes, especially for the novice. With these two processes, the welding machine creates an arc between the work piece (what you want to weld) and a continuously consumable electrode (the “wire” in these wire welding processes). The operator need only focus on directing the MIG gun at the joint and proper motion. Features:-
- Achieves: versatility, portability and reliability.
- Available in conventional transformer and inverter types

Submerged Arc Welding System |
|
 |
|
|
 |
The ATE Sub Arc range lets you choose between Trolley and Boom Mounted Welding Heads. The ATE Sub Arc machines come in options from 600 to 1500 amps and have been tried, tested and attested by our patrons. With over a 100 Sub Arc installations across India, the ATE range of Sub Arc can help you achieve superior results with greater welding profitability.
Shown picture is a Welding Head which is made from premium grade materials for consistent performance during its entire lifetime. The Welding head incorporates a high torque DC geared motor,, wire straightening and feed rollers, welding tip, vertical adjustment mechanism and a flux hopper. The Welding Head can be adjusted transversely and also vertically to bring the welding tip in correct position. It can swivel up to 45 for fillet seams in flat position.
Salient Features: -
- Sturdy Steel enclosure with wheels for easy mobility Consumable spares such as nozzles made from Premium Super Alloy's for extra long life translating in reduced downtime
- Complete copper winding design to provide long life
- excellent dynamic characteristics to get very stable and smooth arc
- Easy arc striking
- Liberal design of output rectifier devices
- Excellent workmanship
The Control Panel is mounted on the other end of the cross beam opposite to the welding head and can be fixed at any convenient angle for easy reading of parameters and incorporates
- Meters for reading welding current, voltage and carriage speed
- Potentiometer for wire feed and carriage speed adjustment
- Push buttons for upward and downward inching of the electrode wife
- Switches for start and stop of welding Forward, off and reverse movement of the carriage

Welding Rotators |
|
 |
|
|
 |
| Welding Rotators are mainly used to rotate or position the cylindrical jobs for circumferential welding (TIG / MIG / Sub Arc). The machine usually consists of Single Drive unit, an Idler unit and a Control panel with pendant. For step less speed variation, D. C. Thyristor drive or AC frequency variable drive may be used. Metallic rollers are bounded with natural rubber or polyurethane as and when a specific requirement may come.
Shown alongside is a picture of a Self Aligning Type Welding Rotator. Self Aligning Rotators automatically adjust the
Roller Housings to accept any job diameters with in the specified diameter range. These types of machines are generally used to cope with the increased production demands.
The roller housings of this type of machine
are hinged to the beds and open up automatically when a larger diameter job is introduced. In this type of rotator, each Roller bracket assembly has two separate roller assemblies, and thus supports the job on a wider area.
The final drive is given to all the 4-sets of rollers of the Drive Unit, in special models, providing better traction to the job. However, in that case a de-clutching arrangement is provided to the top rollers,
in order to protect the gear boxes, as when the job hits the top rollers first while loading, forcing it to rotate via the self-locking gearboxes.
Salient Features
- Both the rollers are adjusted automatically for all job diameters
- Accepts complete range of job diameters in a single setting
- Centre axis of job remains stable for all job diameters
- Wide range of Job diameters and Load capacities
- Most suitable for 'thin walled' shells of large diameters
- A "Four roller" contact gives superior 'slip free' traction for thin walled vessels
- Better acceptability to ovality of vessels compared to other models
- Proven reliability and higher productivity
