Himroo Art
The world famous Himroo Art was originated in Aurangabad, in the reign of Tughlaq. Himroo textile is prepared by silk and locally grown cotton. The Himroo word is originated from Persian word Hum-ruh which that means Similar. Himroo is a replication of Kum-khwab. With Persian designs, the Himroo collection is distinctive in appeal. In older days, it was meant for the royal families. Now days very few weavers are working on Himroo range of home furnishing.
