The synthetic rubber chemicals and adhesive resin, which is formed by the in-situ reaction of resorcinol and methylene compound at the time of vulcanization, are migrated to the interface

Tackifier for Elastomers

Tackifiers are employed in elastomeric compositions to produce wider practical ranges for elastomer properties such as stiffness and tack. AUROTACK 202 has been developed to improve adhesion and sometimes cohesion without necessarily stiffening or softening the elastomer compositions.

For various applications, it is desirable that elastomers have good tack properties prior to curing. The tack property should be to allow the elastomer to bond on contact with a force, which is sufficiently high to oppose delaminating forces which appear enough during the fabrication of elastomers products.

AUROTACK 202 is particularly useful in elastomer products which require green tack in their construction. these elastomers include natural rubber (NR), poly butadiene rubber (PBR), ethylene propylene diene copolymer rubber (EPDM), butadiene-styrene copolymer rubber (SBR), acrylonitrile copolymer (ABS) etc. AUROTACK 202 does not have any adverse effect on the cure rate of the vulcanisation.

APPLICATIONS

AUROTACK 202 may be used in elastomers as tire stock tackifier, cement tackifier and tackifier for any rubber application requiring green tack. Rubber products that require good green tack in their construction include tyres, belts, hoses and tread rubber. These tackifiers may also be utilized in rubber based adhesives containing SBR, NR, EPDM, NBR etc both of the solvent and the emulsion type

High potency smoke suppressant for fire resistant plastic and rubber

It has been recognized that when the polymer is exposed to fire conditions, smoke evolves. The degree of smoke generation is dependent upon the chemical structure of the polymer. However, smoke is a major hazard and AUROGUARD has been indigeneously developed to prevent generation of smoke when polymers are exposed to fire.
AUROGUARD has the potentiality to suppress the smoke both in the case of halogen containing and non-halogen polymers. In the case of halogen bearing polymers, AUROGUARD is effective in the wide range of application starting from plasticised and rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSP) rubber. AUROGUARD also acts efficiently in making Fire Resistant Low Smoke (FRLS) compound from a non-halogenated polymer when used in combination with Antimony Trioxide (Sb₂ O₃) and trace of halogenated additives. AUROGUARD also reduces the hazard from generation of smoke, toxic and corrosive fumes and does not impair any physical properties.

AUROGUARD is non-toxic in nature and easily dispersed in Polymeric materials.
AUROGUARD has no effect on the mechanical properties of the polymer before and after ageing. Suggested use level is 2 phr to 6 phr.

AUROAID prevents sticking of elastomers and compounds to rotors, rolls and calender bowls. The addition of Auroaid can reduce the risk of scorching, particularly in highly loaded compounds

APPLICATIONS

Both saturated and unsaturated rubbers can be vulcanized using various peroxides. But a good state of cure (higher cross linking density) is achieved when a co-agent is used along with peroxide. Thus, a co-agent like Aurosin-6860 gives higher tensile strength, higher tensile modulus, higher cold and hot tear strength, lower compression set, lower abrasion loss, a very good heat resistance, and better elongation at break, at the same time increasing hardness, compared with a peroxide alone vulcanizate.

Aurosin -6860 is an excellent nitroso-amine free scorch retarder, giving very good scorch safety for extruded, injection moulded rubber compounds, at the same time with out affecting cure rate.

Aurosin–6860 is a very good rubber-to-metal adhesion promoter for metals, plastics and fibres. It produces extremely strong rubber-to- metal adhesion without use of external adhesives. Strong rubber-to-metal bonds are achieved with rubbers like NBR, HNBR, CR, SBR, EPDM, PBR, Silicon, Hypalon and other rubbers. A good adhesion is achieved with a number of untreated metals like steel, brass, copper zinc, aluminum and galvanized steels. Good adhesion is also obtained with plastics/ fibres like PET, nylon, PP/PE, PTFE, Aramid / Kevlar, glass fibres etc.

Aurosin-6860 peroxide co-agent is extensively used in rubber based products like belts, hoses, cables, rubber rollers, foamed rubbers, building profiles and varieties of moulded products where excellent heat resistance, lower compression set and good hot tear strength etc are required. It is also used in peroxide based type flaps (EPDM), cables, foamed products and adhesives.

Co-agent Aurosin-6860 is a metallic anhydrous salt, which may readily absorb moisture on exposure at humid atmosphere.So, it is recommended to store the material between 50-90ºF.Direct exposure to heat , sunlight, oxidizing additives,and strong oxidizing/reducing agents to be avoided.

Fire Retardant Plasticizer

COUMARONE INDENE RESIN

Aurosin C 501	CI Resin	Used in Synthetic Elastomer to improve the green tack of the compound. Extensively used in SBR compounding espacially in formulation containing non-carbon black fillers. It is also used in coating, artificial leather, plastics, adhesives and in various rubber goods.

Polymeric Plasticizers & Homogenizing Agent

AUROSIN 40 is a processing promoter of high molecular weight. It is particularly suitable for improving the homogeneity of compounds based on rubber blends and in improving the dispersion of fillers and other rubber chemicals.

AUROSIN 40, a homogenizing agent increases the green tack of many compounds although strictly this is not mere a tackifier, but however, boosting the efficiency of other tackifying agents.

AUROSIN 40, a homogenizing agent does not harden during vulcanization. In the presence of AUROSIN 40 hardness of the vulcanizate is not reduced as much as when using material like mineral oil, plasticizers, etc

APPLICATIONS

Dark coloured compound based on natural Rubber (NR) & synthetic rubber (SR). Also apply for NR & SR blend compound in tyre and conveyer belting.

Eco-friendly Antisticking Agent for Rubber

AUROSAP VP 520

An Eco-Friendly water dispersible powder used as aqueous dispersion for the anti-adhesive treatment of unvulcanized rubber compounds in the form of sheet or strip.

APPLICATION METHOD
