Auroville Water Harvest DGPS Survey & Survives
Our expertise: Water Harvest has ten years of experience in topographic, civil and hydrographic surveying. We have completed survey projects and consultancy services in Tamil Nadu as well as other states.

Our instruments:
Water harvest is the only solution provider in the region using a Leica DGPS SR500.
The instrument has been widely used to perform topographic survey of lakes and tanks,
channels, geo-postionning and elevation of borewells, as well as capture of road junction
location and leveling.
Additionally, Water Harvest also implements surveys with a Total Station survey
instrument for engineering and civil works.

Compared with traditional survey methods,
the use of DGPS allows gaining more than
50% of time in the field and in the office.
High accuracy: The DGPS provides accuracy
up to 2 cm, for horizontal X,Y coordinates as
well vertical Z elevation value.
Absolute positioning for easy mapping
integration: The DGPS surveys allows
capturing of geographic coordinates values
in World Geodetic System 1984, or any other projection, for seamless integration to a
Geographic Information System. The data captured can be directly overlaid to satellite
imagery, GIS features etc.
