Shown in the picture is a conventional 3-phase dc seam welder with long throat depth rated at 300 kva @ 50% duty cycle.

This is a long throat circumferential seam welder shown in the photograph with job holding fixturing. This seam welder is in production at beml for manufacture of pontoon / bailley bridges. The seam welder uses a 3 phase dc power unit with secondary b6 rectification. Optionally 3 phase mfdc inverter based power sources are also available.
