Special Purpose Machines

This fine boring SPM is meant for production of auto-components with fine boring. This can also be used for drilling holes as well as facing milling.

These machines can be supplied with ISO or BT tapers. The spindles are designed for heavy loads and are assembled using precision angular contact bearings. The spindle run out is less than 2 micron at the spindle nose. The slide units consist of high precision L.M guides for spindle movements and are actuated hydraulically. We can also provide motorized controls for the slide.

These machines are designed for continuous production lines. Hence, ease of operation, minimum loading and unloading time, minimum setting time for change of component are the major factors considered while designing. They are very precise, user friendly and highly reliable.
