Silk Sliver

Our enchanting range of various spun silk products offer silk sliver lap. Silk slivers placed side by side can be spread as sheet is called lap.Various uses and application of our silk sliver lap are enlisted below:

• For feeding Friction spinning (i.e. D.R.E.F spinning)
• For card level blending with cotton and other fibers.

Silk Sliver (Carded)

Carded Sliver that is strand of fibers in continous ribbon form can be supplied and is suitable for:

• Friction spinning blends with other fiber slivers
• Suitable for cotton blends of economically priced yarn
• Suitable for wool and linen blends prior to combing process. This will pass through gill box. If the yarn is coarser, then can be blended in post comb gilling.
• Multi color slivers for wall  decors and hangings.

Single or double combed silk slivers, packed in cartoon boxes can be supplied with the following variations.

i) Single combed sliver

• Half combed sliver
  
• Full combed sliver

ii)   Double combed sliver
iii)  Sliver with effective fibre length of 70 to 75 mm
iv)  Silver with effective fibre length of 40 to 42 mm for cotton blend
v)   Non continous sliver in the form of fleece, suitable for Blow room blending of cotton
vi)  Cut staples of 70-75 mm effective length sliver. 

We offer silk sliver/web/combed fibre suitable for cotton blend.Fibre length of about 42mm/strength around 45gms/tex supplied to leading textile mills at South India.
