We are engaged in fabricating wide range of alloys, which are in accordance with internationals norms and standards. These are extensively used in Defense, ISRO, Aircraft Industry and other allied areas. Sourced from reliable vendors, we make use of good quality of raw material in the production of our gamut.
The raw material includes high purity virgin metals, alloying elements, Aluminum-Strontium (Al-Sr) Sr-4.5 to 5.5 %, Aluminum Titanium (Al-Ti) Ti-4.5 to 5.5 % & Ti-9.5 to 10.5%, Aluminum-Titanium-Boron Ti-4.5 to 5.5 % & B-0.8 to 1.2 %, Aluminum-Copper (50-50 +/-1%) Aluminum-Silicon (Si-20% +/- 1%), Aluminium-Iron (Fe 30%+/-1%), Aluminum-Vanadium (V-5%+1-0.5%), Aluminum-Zirconium (Zr - 3%, 5%+1 - 0.5%), Aluminium-Chromium, Aluminium-Nickel, Aluminum-Silver, Copper, Chromium-Copper and Nickel. Furthermore, these are fabricated in accordance with client requirement and are delivered within stipulated time frame.
For the structural components and on account of their poor mechanical properties, the large grain size of the cast aluminum and alloys is the big disadvantage to them. The superior properties is imparted by the fine grained structure, but it also lower down the risk of hot tearing cracking in the mould. The shrinkage porosity and embrittkement is worked. To help in the grain refinement of aluminum and aluminum-based alloys, the small amount of zirconium is very helpful.
With the addition of zirconium in the pure aluminum, to the extent of 0.3%, it produces the grain size of microns in the cast condition compared to 1100 microns when no Zirconium is present. The major increase in the tensile strength is over 20% for 0.3% zr. the value is 12.10 kg/mm2 compared to 9.94 kg/mm2 in the absence of Zirconium). The major improvement in the tensile strength values is more than 20% by incorporating the Zirconium in varied proportions in these alloys.
With the use of Al-Zr master alloys, zirconium addition is attained by the accurate compositional control without the oxidation losses. It can be easily incorporated by the Zirconium in Mg-based alloys consisting aluminum, which are in demand in aircraft and space industries.
