Acid battery Terminal/ Lead Post Leak Sealer

Axxon LPPR compound for acid battery lead posts sealing compound based on Mettalocene polymers and synthetic resin additives.

Physical parameters:

• Color : Light yellow to brown color liquid
• Viscosity : 10-15 cps @ 28 Deg C
• Odor : Alcoholic
• Drying time : 40-50 minutes @ RT (Touch dry)
• Curing Time : 10 minutes @ 130 Deg C, 10-15 sec @ 180 Deg C with 3 bar pressure while molding.

How to apply:

• Select and clean (with acetone or IPA solvents)the lead posts to be bonded with PPCP,
• Cleaned lead post allow for drying @ 40-45 Deg C in the oven for 2-5 minutes,
• Than dip coat the lead posts to the required bond surface with Axxon-LPPR- compound
• Coated lead posts allow for pre drying 5-6 minutes @ 40-45 Deg C for speedy production or allow for Room temperature for about 40-50 minutes,
• Now coated lead posts can mold with PPCP or any plastic.
• Check the molded lead post for pressure and solvent leak (MTO/Kerosene) test for QA procedures.
