SVP3000 Alphaplus models AVP300 and AVP301 are current-pneumatic smart valve positioners. The SVP3000 Alphaplus receives a DC current signal from control devices and controls pneumatic valves. In addition to this basic function, the SVP3000 Alphaplus has communication capabilities, automatic configuration program, and self diagnostics functions that will greatly increase productivity and the efficiency of plant operation. The ST3000 Smart Transmitter is a microprocessor-based smart transmitter that features high performance and excellent stability. Alphaplus valves have large Cv values, high range ability, and accurate flow control performance. When securely held in place by a top-guided stem with a long stroke, the valve plug is highly resistant against vibration and provides flow shutoff performance that fully satisfies IEC standards. SECURE-SEAL is a seal system that helps reduction of fluid leakage from a control valve gland. Enforcement of regulations that limit the exhaust of the air pollutant VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) from industrial facilities has been enforced in many countries. The VOC exhaust regulation in the U.S. covers the control liability of even minute leakage from a control valve gland. By using a control valve that has a high gland seal performance, users can reduce their loads that are related to this control liability. SECURE-SEAL has the gland seal structure that satisfies such environmental regulations FEATURES Complies with CAAA (Clean Air Act Amendment) in the U.S. The SECURE-SEAL gland seal performance complies with the VOC leakage amount at the atmospheric concentration level, 500 ppm or lower, which is required by the CAAA (Clean Air Act Amendment) enforced by the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). Maintenance free The Live Load structure that is employed by this system uses spring power to always apply appropriate fastening power to the gland packing. This prevents from strain release of the packing, which may cause fluid leakage. In addition, the gland packing used does not require grease, which eliminates the need for regular grease-up tasks. Visible torque control of the gland When the gland nut is tightened, an appropriate spring pressure amount can be set by referring to the mark placed on the spring cover. Flexible application to the existing control valves The gland structure of the existing control valves can be changed to that of SECURE-SEAL by replacing or adding the minimum number of required parts such as the gland stud bolts, packing followers, Belleville spring and so on.

Slim-line Monitor is designed to fit in fume hoods of various sizes. Icons (graphical buttons) are provided for simple and easy operation. It regulates the exhaust volume according to sash positioning to maintain a constant face velocity of fume hoods by sending airflow control signals to Airflow Control Valves (Accel II). The front panel LED lights let you know the hood's operating conditions. They stay green when the system operation is detected normal and turn red and give off alarm sounds whenever an alarm hood condition occurs.

Active Pressure Monitor accurately measures and display pressure differentials between two rooms or spaces, where pressurization is of critical importance. To ensure a high degree of precision, it is designed to be able to measure differential pressures and give alarms with accuracy to within 5%. Tightly mounted thru-scan sensors interfere with each other, and a filter doesn’t help. An advance operation check is needed to prevent error due to dust or dirt. Chattering may occur during detection, depending on the target object condition. A diffuse-scan model sometimes fails to detect a target object that has a hole or notch. A diffuse-scan sensor is needed but is unreliable if the scanning distance is too short. The use of both NPN and PNP models requires too much troublesome maintenance. Seasonal fogging of the lens surface causes operation error. Cables become disconnected from sensors mounted on moving units.

Air ducts of cage racks are connected to the main duct, through which heat and metabolic products from animals are discharged directly outside. As the exhaust from the racks is not discharged into the room, the ventilation rate can be reduced without compromising the room environment. The inside of the racks are fully ventilated at the rate of 50 to 100 times per hour, while the frequency of ventilation of the rearing room is cut to 5 to 10 times per hour. In effect, the total ventilation rate is reduced, therewith fan energy consumption and heat source energy consumption are reduced, too, and this leads to energy cost saving.

The model KUX60G/70G field type P/I converter is a microprocessor-based, pneumatic-electric current signal converter, which employs a silicon pressure sensor. It converts a pneumatic signal to a 4 to 20 mA DC current signal with high accuracy and excellent stability.
Zone Presence Sensor (ZPS) detects presence of a person in front of a fume hood. When it senses a human presence, ZPS sends the fume hood monitoring system a signal for ‘normal operation’ to request a standard airflow rate for manned condition. When operators are absent, it signals for a stand-by, lower airflow rate mode. By switching the airflow rate automatically according to presence or absence of operators, it maximize energy and cost saving.
