Security Hologram

"Security Hologram" for a product with such a high tech name, security hologram stickers have a pretty simple idea behind them. Although they are technically computer generated holograms, they work much like any security seal has worked all through history. Even before the Middle Ages, people were using wax seals to prevent tampering with messages. Although the type of security seal has become much more sophisticated, the overall idea behind it has remained exactly the same.

The whole point of security holograms is to show if someone has tampered with a product. You probably have seen security labels on a least a few products you have bought. For example, you may have bought a computer with a warranty that is voided if you open the box. If this is the case, the computer will probably come with the security label. Once you open up the computer, anyone who looks at it will be able to see that the security holograms have been broken.

It is a low-tech solution, but it is amazing how well security holograms work. You see, holograms are notoriously difficult to duplicate. Unless you have the original design, some very highly specialized equipment, and quite a bit of expertise, it will be almost impossible to duplicate a security hologram. Security holograms provide a surprising amount of protection. Temper evident holograms are foolproof or undefeatable - and very difficult to forge that most people won't bother to take the time, money & energy to accomplish it.

To combat counterfeiting, to authenticate products and to enhance brand image the most common from the security measures and part of packaging, products or brand is temper evident hologram. Security hologram is an image registered with the use of coherent laser light. It presents 3D information of a subject. It can have spatial effects, vibrant color changes, resolution with shine and brightness, some visible or some concealed subject.

• Spool Form: The holograms are supplied in spool form with a gap of minimum 2.5-3 mm between two holograms. These holograms can be applied both manually and automatically using automatic dispensing machine.

Tamper evident labels and seals are often used to detect tampering with objects containing valuables, confidential information, equipment settings. Typical applications include file cabinets, aircraft hatches, entry doors, envelopes, cartons, books, electronic components, etc.

Hologram labels offer an additional layer of security since they cannot be scanned or photocopied and are a proven method to combat counterfeiting.

If removed after application, the seal/label will self-destruct in a manner to signal that the seal has been broken. Our products are designed to show signs of tamper evidence immediately when removed. Unlike competitive products, there is no waiting period for the tamper evidence feature to become active.

The tamper evidence feature varies with each material system. Polyester materials have an engineered release which will leave a pattern of DOTS, the word "OPENED", or the word "VOID". Our tamper evident seals & labels are available in standard and holographic versions. All can be custom imprinted with your company name and/or logo and consecutive serial numbers.

Adding a custom imprint increases the security of the finished product. Imprints are made using a durable colored ink that will not rub off with standard use. Available imprint colors include black, red, blue, red and green. For added security, we maintain an imprint registry to assure that your unique imprint is only available to your company.

• Standard security seals and security labels do not require a custom imprint. These can be purchased without any printing on the surface.
• Most of the hologram labels require a custom imprint.

SPECIFICATION
This is see-through hologram, made of transparent PET or BOPP material and has special coating with high reflective index (HRI). It can be used for lamination purposes and as a transparent and aattractive part of secured packaging.

FEATURES

• A highly durable, transparent hologram of bank-card quality is applied to the entire card surface.
• The hologram provides the reproduction of three-dimensional images or "deeper" expressions. When overlapped with graphics printed on the plastic which can be seen through, the hologram creates quite new designs.
• The manufacture of all-over transparent hologram cards requires much more advanced technology than conventional cards which contain a hologram image in a portion of the surface. This means more powerful counterfeit protection.

Holographic Tape :
Instead of hologram in label form one can take it in tape form to use it to seal a packet or container and to reduce time consumption for bulk quantity. Just as a normal self adhesive tape one can use holographic tape also for their packaging needs.

For both security packaging and promotional purpose holographic tape can be used. Every product where normal self-adhesive BOPP tape is used, holographic tape can be used in the same way.
