Needle Roller Bearing
Our customers can acquire highly durable needle roller bearings that are used in various industries. These possess small cross section of needle roller & cage assemblies that predominantly offers compact and light constructions. Rigid bearing mounting of high load carrying capacity is ensured with the long length of needle rollers with respect to their diameters. Moreover, the controlled contour of the needle roller ends assists in eliminating the edge stressing. Some of the salient attributes of these bearings include dimensional accuracy, high tensile strength, high-speed rotation, easy to use & install and low noise.

Needle Roller Bearing We are one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of needle roller bearings.
Advantages:
Due to the smaller cross-section, greater rigidity, higher load-carrying capacity & lower inertia of the needle roller bearings help size and weight reductions in machinery.
Though they are less wide, their load carrying capacity is high and is most suitable for applications where the load is high & the radial space is less.
Needle roller bearings, which are designed to withstand oscillation can operate under severe conditions & interchange with sliding bearings.
Applications
Transmissions, transfer cases, engines & valve trains.
Steering and braking systems.
Axle support.
Outboard engines.
Expanded Options
Assemblies with bearings.
Engineered polymer cages.
Bearings with one or two seals.
Closed end bearings.
Oil holes.
Drawn sleeves.
Types of Needle Roller Bearings
Different types of Needle roller bearings involved in general engineering are:
Drawn cup needle roller bearings
Drawn cup needle roller bearings with closed ends.
With and without inner rings.
Drawn cup needle roller bearings, are needle roller bearings with a deep thin-walled outer ring with open or closed ends. They have very low sectional height & high load carrying capacity. They are used when the housing bore cannot be used as a raceway & very compact bearing arrangement is required. Drawn cup needle roller bearings are generally used directly on the shaft. Where the shaft cannot be hardened and ground, they can be combined with an inner ring.
Drawn cup needle roller bearings with closed ends. The drawn cup of hardened sheet steel & needle roller & cage assembly forms a non-separable unit. The outside surface of the rollers is slightly relieved towards the roller ends giving a favorable load distribution in the bearing. The space available for lubricant is large. Usually they have a single row of rollers. Some may have two-needle roller and cage assemblies adjacent to each other with the lubrication hole in the outer ring.
With and without inner rings. For applications where a seal is not available, or cannot be used, bearings with integral seals may be used. These are rubbing seals of polyurethane or nitride rubber(NBR). High quality lithium base grease is used in them. To utilize maximum load carrying capacity, the raceways on the shaft must have the hardness and surface finish normally found on bearing raceways. Recommendations will be found in the section.
Needle Roller Bearings Specifications & Standards
Dimensions - The boundary dimensions of the drawn cup needle roller bearings are in accordance with ISO.
Bore Size - Bore is a hollow, usually cylindrical chamber or barrel where the metal balls are to be placed. Its size is measured in millimeters.
Outer Ring Width - It is the width of the outer ring measured in millimeters.
Revolutions - Revolutions indicate the rotation speed of the bearing. Bearing Weight It indicates the weight of the bearing, measured in pound.
Tolerance - They are usually meant for normal tolerance but can be enhanced.
Internal Clearance - SKF needle roller bearings with inner ring are supplied with Normal radial internal clearance as standard. For needle roller bearings without inner ring, a suitable internal clearance is achieved by selecting appropriate tolerance.
Misalignment - The line contact between the raceways and the rollers prevent damaging edge stresses from occurring & also allows bearings to accommodate very minor angular misalignments of the shaft relative to the housing.
Cages - There are standard cages but some may

Thrust Needle Roller Bearing Needle roller thrust bearings are for heavy axial loads. They require minimum axial space & are arranged rather stiffly. They can accommodate axial loads acting in one direction. It can take as less space as thrust washer can. The roller, cage & raceways can all be separated & be combined with washers of various designs
Needle roller & cage thrust assemblies
consist of a cage that guide & retain large number of needle rollers. The cylindrical surface of the rollers is slightly relieved towards the ends to ensure an even load distribution & prevent the damage to edges
Bearing washers
Raceway washers are made of hardened carbon chromium(rolling bearing)steel. The raceways are ground & the bore & outside diameter are turned may be used both as shaft & housing washers for bearing arrangements
Thrust washers are made of spring steel & are hardened & polished. They enable bearing arrangements where, the adjacent machine components are not suitable as raceways, but do have adequate stiffness. The thrust washers can be used both as shaft & housing washers
Shaft & housing washers used for high-speed applications when accurate centering of the bearing washers is required
Dimensions - The dimensions of the needle roller & cage thrust assemblies correspond to ISO
Misalignment - They cannot tolerate any misalignment of shaft with respect to housing or any angular misalignment
Cage - Needle roller & cage thrust assemblies incorporate a form-stable cage of steel or sheet steel as standard, with exception of those assemblies identified by designation suffix TN which have injection molded cage of glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6,6.
Minimum Load - The requisite minimum axial load to be applied to needle roller thrust bearings can be obtained from
Fam = 0,0005 C0
where
Fam = minimum axial load,kN
C0 = basic static load rating,kN
This needs to be adhered to if bearings have to operate at high speeds or are subjected to rapid changes in direction of load
Needle roller bearings use needle rollers as rolling elements. The needle rollers are maximum of 5mm in diameter & are 3-10 times as long as they are in diameter. Because bearings use needle rollers as rolling elements, cross-section is thin, but they have high load capacity for their size. Because of large number of rolling elements, bearings have high rigidity & are ideally suited to wobbling or pivoting motion
Physical Characteristics
Its cylindrical rollers, which are thin & long in relation to their diameter. They are referred to as needle rollers
Needle Rollers used for needle roller bearings & are rigid & highly accurate
In spite of their low cross section bearings have a high load carrying capacity
Available with or without an inner ring
The needle rollers are maximum of 5mm in diameter & are 3-10 times as long as they are in diameter
Application of Needle Roller Bearings
Needle roller bearings contain precision needle rolling elements, which have multiple uses in a variety of industries including automotive, truck, farm & construction equipment, two-cycle engines, outboard engines & consumer durables
Needle rollers are mainly used as bearing rolling elements to transmit torque & reduce friction. They can also serve as precision shafts or as precision locating pins. Other uses for needle roller bearings include crank pins, precision shafts & as locating pins.
