About UsOur tea trail at BALAJI AGRO INTERNATIONAL traces its history back to 1959 when Mr. Santosh Kanoria took over the reins of the tea plantations of his family, the Kanoria group of industries, and transformed them into efficient quality conscious estates. A renowned planter and taster, he has owned and managed tea estates in Darjeeling, Assam, Terai and Dooars. In 1970 he decided to reduce his involvement in plantations and concentrate more on exports of quality teas.
To fulfil this dream, the legend of BALAJI AGRO INTERNATIONAL was born. The cornerstones of this firm since its foundation have been: Trust, Service and Value for money . It is this sincerity of objective coupled with an in-depth knowledge of tea and its marketing, as well as our high personalised levels of service that has made BALAJI AGRO INTERNATIONAL a respected name in the international tea world today.
