The company went on to become the largest traders in western region of India. However, In the year 1996, looking at the dearth of quality mirror producers in India and to provide competitive alternative to the consumers, the group decided to venture into mirror processing line. A state of the art plant was put up at Sojitra (Gujarat) to produce mirrors of international standards. Balsurya Mirrors Limited got recognized globally in a very short span for supplying high quality mirrors at affordable prices. The company's strength were quality production, timely deliveries and exceptional after sales services. Today it is a household name not only in India but in Srilanka, Pakistan, China, Europe and Middle East catering to major Hotels and Restaurants, Hospitals, Corporate buildings, Multiplexes, Commercial complexes, Railways and Residential segment. In Continuation of the Growth strategy of the group, The present managing director Mr. Vipul Patel decided in the year 2004 to venture into higher end of glass processing. Once again the idea was born out of the need for quality processors of glass in the country and for providing viable alternative to the Indian consumer. The group has now put up India's largest Horizontal tempering and toughening line and also the largest architectural bending line at Daman. The Group is also putting up Fully automated Lamination and Insulation lines in future to provide one stop shop for consumers. With the above, the group will become the sole company in India to give Mirrors, toughened glass, tempered glass, Insulated glass, bend glass and Automotive glass under one roof.
