Constructional Features:
CASING: It is made of close grained high quality cast iron. Volute and interior surfaces are shot blasted to give fine finish, smooth water passages and higher discharge. It is capable of with standing a hydrostatic test pressure of 1.5 times the maximum discharge pressure.
IMPELLER: It is specially designed to give higher discharge, higher efficiency over long range and to give better performance even at higher suction lifts. The impeller is of single suction type, secured to shaft firmly. Each Impeller is statically balanced and the interior water passages are shot blasted to give best performance.
SHAFT: The shaft is made of high carbon steel ground accurately and of ample size. It can transmit maximum power without vibrations.
BEARING PEDESTAL/STUFFING BOX: Sturdy and robust construction to give long continuous service, fitted with bush bearing and ball bearing both of ample size to withstand all operating conditions. Lantern ring is provided in between gland packing to keep the shaft cool and to prevent any air leakage.
BALL BEARING: The ball bearing is the fitted in the sturdy bearing housing having ample strength and factor of safety to take radial and thrust load imposed by the pump. It is grease packed when assembled, besides above a grease cup is provided to take care of lubrication.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION: Anti clock-wise when viewed from coupling end.
HIGH HEAD PUMPS: We are also into the development of high head pumps with total head 60 mts. 7 discharge 7.5 Liters per second suitable with 8 HP engine at 3500 rpm.
Prime Mover: Single/Double Cylinder, Air/Water cooled, vertical, four stroke, constant speed, stationary, compression ignition, handle/push button start diesel engine from the driving power for the A. C. Generators.
A.C. Generators: A. C. Generators are self-excited & self regulated in screen protected drip-proof enclosure. These A. C. Generators are available in single phase and three phase at 1500 R.P.M. These A. C. Generators are manufactured as per Indian Standard Specifications : 13364 (pt.1) under strict quality control capable of sustaining 10% over load one hour in any 12 hours normal running.
Armature: The armature cores are of high quality Silicon steel stamping to ensure minimum energy losses. The armature core is rigidly keyed to a sturdy shaft & clamped with heavy end-ring.
Body & Ventilation: The stator frame consists of thick sheet steel, which is rounded and machined for its alignment with end shields. The end shield are of cast iron with easy ventilation windows on both sides. A balanced and efficient aluminum fan is fitted with the armature spindle, which gives uniform cooling and long life to the windings. The whole body is based on steel plates to ensure stability.
Winding & insulation: Both D.C. and A.C. windings are of super synthetic enameled copper wire of high conductivity. High grade insulating materials are used in winding the field coils and armature, which are than varnished and thoroughly dried. Winding is of class "A" insulation. Voltage regulation in within +,- 5%.
Slip-ring assembly: The slip-ring are made of specially designed gun metal alloy of homogenous texture set in phenolic resinous power to facilitate spark-free and no energy loss conduction. Brush holders are fitted with insulated bolts. Positive collection of current is ensured by copper bush flexible and adequate connecting leads.
Field: The field consists of four pole shoes built of high quality steel stamping, which are accurately spaced and mounted in the steel body.
Current Wave: Generator out-put current wave from remains substantially Sinusoidal under all conditions and frequency variation is within +, -5%.
Bearings: Heavy duty ball-bearings of high quality are fitted to support the armature spindle. The bearings are lubricated with high melting point grease, which help the A.C. Generators in smooth and noiseless running. Outer bearings are covered type to prevent dust.
Additional fixtures: A separate control panel fitted with voltmeter, Ampere meter/s, switch/es, blinker/and fuse-cut-out/s can be supplied on demand at extra cost.
We are also manufacturing Diesel Generating sets with engines running at 1800 RPM, producing 60 Hz with simultaneous 120-240 volt output.
