1961 - Company founded by a team of technical & commercial persons for manufacturing of Liner and Sleeves of automobiles.
1965 - Manufacture of "cylinder head" added to the range.
1968 - Manufacturing of Diesel Engine added to the range under brand name "Atul Shakti".
1974 - Export of Diesel Engine to Gulf Countries.
1983 - Induction Furnace of 100 Kg. capacity started & produced 40 Tons of grey iron & steel casting per month.
1987 - Induction Furnace of 750 added & started manufacturing 150 tons per month of casting with a mix of 75% grey iron & 25% steel.
1990 - Changed product mix to 75% steel & 25% grey iron. Got registered with R. D. S. O. (Research design & Standard organization).
1995 – Re-organised to manufacture Diesel Pumpsets, genstes, A.C. Generator & Spare Parts.
1998 - Export Directly to Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, U.A.E. & Nepal Started in a big way.
2000 - Exports to Latin American Countries.
2003 - Company takes IS 9001 Certification.

We have been satisfactorily catering to the demands of domestic & international markets, setting up new standards in the global market. For handling exports we have a separate export division named M/s Basant International which exports
over 3500 Diesel Engines & 1500 Generators to over 9 countries in the world. We are supplying marine and industrial castings in variety of grades in gray iron & carbon steel for general engineering.
