The Company was set up in 1965 as a joint venture between Cutler-Hammer, USA, and Indian partners. Since 1977, it is a wholly owned Indian company with global business connections.
The Company¿s plant is located in a covered area of over 2,50,000 square feet at Faridabad near Delhi, employing over 800 personnel comprising of more than 300 engineers, 50 in R&D , 70 in tooling / engineering. It has state-of-the-art modern manufacturing facilities, Quality Assurance System and well-equipped design, tool room and R&D facilities.
A dedicated manufacturing facility in Rajasthan for manufacture of wires and cables provides highly engineered cables to BCH customers.
In continuation with its policy of continued investment in electrical products, BCH has now set up a large plant over 12 acres in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. It will meet the growing manufacturing needs of BCH in view of its high sales growth. This modern plant with latest facilities has SAP based ERP system. Care has been taken to ensure that the manufacturing facility is eco friendly with zero adverse impact on environment.
