Earlier when we had just entered the orbit of realty business way back in 2001, Gurgaon City was considered to be a remote small town with plenty of open space and villages all around.
Sohna Road Villas like Nirvana Country, Eledeco Mansionz, Silver Crest, Omaxe South End & Mayfield Gardens, Rosewood Small Villas & Grand Mansionz Villas & Independent Kothis, etc.
Delhiites in search of open space wanted to get rid of congestion and cramped life style of Delhi had already started migrating to Gurgaon. When we started contacting various prospective customers, we found many of them wanted to buy cheaper options, so they compulsively were coming to us. For them, Sohna Road was too far a place to settle down. Even though some of them described it Sona (Sleeping) Road, however got transformed into Sona (Gold) Road in the span of just four years. |
For those lower middle class buyers of properties, who accidentally or impulsively ventured into buying a piece of property on Sohna Road in those days, found themselves standing in the middle of a goldmine by 2006 end !
To their disbelief, the return happened to be mind-boggling about five to ten times on their investment.
We witnessed most of these casual buyers of 2001-2003 turning into habitual and aggressive investors thereafter, who used to pick properties as if they were buying their groceries. For Gurgaon year 2003-2006 remained as boom-boom time as many people became millionaire by investing into realty.
