POST / PIT HOLE DIGGER is an implement that will drill / dig a hole of various sizes and depths:- 

a) Plantation of trees, and saplings etc.

b) Erection of marking stones.

c)Fencing.

A very critical operation in land preparation is the making of pits.

Presently Pits are dug manually, which does not ensure that the required diameter and depth are maintained. The cost of manual digging of pits is also high and the job not always satisfactory.

There has therefore been a need for an efficient and effective implement to make pits for planting new tea bushes.

For the healthy growth of the tea bush it is imperative that the pits should be of uniform size and depth.

We have therefore mechanized this operation by developing a Tractor Mounted Pit Digger which makes 4 uniform Pits simultaneously.

Outstanding Features:

• The machine can be attached to any tractor of 60 HP. and above.

• 4 Pits are dug at a time.

• The diameter of the Pit is 12 inches or 15 inches as required.

• The Pits dugs are upto a depth of 24 inches.

• Asingle operation of digging 4 Pits takes maximum 30 seconds thereby making approx. 4000 pits a day.

• Pits dug are all of uniform size.

• The machine is extremely economical in operation.

• Small stones and roots of uprooted tea bushes are taken out by the machine.

• The distance between the rows and plants can be kept as per requirement.

• The soil dug out is totally pulverized thereby facilitating mixing of the soil with fertilizers to ensure good plant growth.
