BGB Earth rods are made up of high tensive low carbon steel complying with requirement of BS 4360 grade 43A. Each rod is molecularly bonded by 99.99% pure, high conductivity copper. Diameter of the rod ranges from 9.5 mm to 25mm in length varies form 1200 to 3000mm. Earth rods are also made in solid copper and are either internally or externally threaded.

We manufacture all types of structures which are hot dipped Galvanized varieties like Power channel, Eye Bolts, clamps , tie straps, D/C Iron Brackets, U Bolt, Cross Arms etc. Any type of structures as per customer's requirements and design can be developed.

Cable Joints are specially designed for easy jointing of cable. The Jointing Kits have passed the Electricity council test C81 type. The low voltage jointing kits are used for XLPE-PVC-PILC cables.The following kits are manufactured by us.

BGB manufactures a vast range of line tapes laid by different international standards. Pressure pads of line tape are made out of extruded bars to avoid it from cracking. Brass line tapes are supplied in natural brass or with tinned finish. They can be supplied in H.C grade Copper or S.S for 10mm2 to 500mm2 wire ropes or conductors.

Operating and discharge pole are made of fiber glass in three- four section or telescopic type with clamps of Aluminum / Brass- Copper. Both discharging and operating poles are type tested and are available from 11 to 220 KV system voltage.

The inherent design features of multi cone post insulators lead to advantageous deflection characteristics and its adaptability to meet onerous mechanical and electrical requirements of EHV outdoor switching stations.

The insulators are eminently suitable for applications as post insulators, Bus bar supports, disconnecting switches and circuit breaker posts requiring characteristics high bending strength and comparatively low deflection. The problem of deflection in post insulators in bush bar and disconnecting switches under cantilever load increases in proportion to insulators height. Drastic reduction in the number of metal fittings in multi cone insulator stack brings forth specific advantages in this regard. Deflection of multi cone insulators is lower than equivalent solid core insulators.

Cap and Pin Type post insulators are designed mainly to support disconnecting switches, bush bars, conductors and equipment for substations. They are capable of being stressed in tension, compression, flexion, torsion and combined stresses up to the specified limits. Theses insulators are more commercial than other types of insulators used for similar applications.

Solid core line post insulators up to 66 KV Voltage class can be used for construction of overhead lines at a lesser cost but having the reliability of a line using suspension Long rod insulators.

Solid core Line Post insulators, based on long- rod concept, are recommended for sub transmission / distribution lines up to 66 KV .Further line construction cost using Solid core line post insulators are cheaper compares with that using long rod insulators or suspension insulators.

During recent years the popularity of solid core station post insulators has steadily increased over cap and pin type post insulators stacks in consideration of compact design, superior anti pollution performance, low RIV , better arc resistibility and lower deflection under cantilever load.

The composite support insulators are used to provide support to the outdoor cable termination rated upto 36 KV. The insulator consisites of a fibreglass core covered with weather resistant polymeric sheded sleeve and aluminium caps at both ends. These insulators are light in weight as compared to porcelein insulators. The composite insulaotr design offers significant advantages like better performance in highly polluted enviornment, flame/arc resistance, resistance to chemicals and U/V radiation and are Vandal-Proof.

L.T insulators are guided by the relative reliability of the secondary lines and constructional practices adopted by different electricity supplying undertakings. Two sizes of shackle insulators are widely used in India for tension as well as tangent locations depending upon conductor sizes. These are 90mm x 75mm and 115mm x 100mm having the failing load of 1.15KN and 16 KN respectively. Pin insulators are also provided with a top groove and threaded to take mild steel pin. The pin insulator are generally suitable for a minimum failing load of 3.5 KN.

Suspension Insulators Disc Porcelain are most widely used models for transmissions and distribution lines. In strings they can be used for any voltage depending on the number of units mounted in series. Their design varies to suit different types of polluted zones and mechanical strength as per customer's requirements. It is possible to connect strings in parellel and in sets of two or more to provide adequate mechanical strength for large spans or heavy conductors. Life expectancy of these insulators are extremely high but may be adversely affected if operated beyond specified limits of electrical or mechanical stress. Varieties of Suspension insulator of 45 KN to 160 KN. Electro Mechanic strength ranges normally three type of shell profile.
The standard profile is meant for use in temperate climate and reasonably clean areas. The anti fog for the same insulator string lengths provides a longer leakage distance. Open profile insulators are meant to reduce accumulation of dust in desert areas where rainfall is scarce. due to aerodynamic characteristics of insulator profile.

Cast iron Chamber -Man hole coves, strips and flat of Cu-Al and GI pipe are available. we also manufacture earth electrods made of GI pipe complete with reducer and funnel of all varieties and class in accordance to specifications as per IS and EIL.

Rubber mats are made of the best quality of material rubber as per IS 5424. Matting is available in variety of sizes and thickness. Generally they are black or red colored with chequred of corregated type. Rubber hand gloves are available of tested grade for working voltage of 11 to 33 KV.

Mechanical aluminum connectors suitable for all varieties of cable from 16 to 500 sqm, these connectors are suitable for both aluminum and copper cable. Brass guage is provided for making the connectors bimetallic. Connectors are made of EC grade aluminum and are suitable for single and parallel brand joints.

Pin insulators of one piece or multipiece construction are widely used in low cost distribution lines. Multipiece construction makes these insulators less vulnerable to damage as with one shell broken a multi piece insulator can normally withstand the line voltage for a considerable time without difficulty. Full range of pin insulators for application in sub transmission and distribution lines up to a system voltage of 66/72 KV.
These insulators are available with creep age path to meet various requirements of pollution. They are designed for natural cleaning by wind and rain and operate successfully with no attention whatsoever under normal deposit to atmospheric dirt. However where exposure conditions are more severe insulators suitable for one step higher voltage are recommended for preventing leakage flashover due to severs pollution of dust, salt or smog.

Epoxy insulators, fiber glass, DMC and SMC insulators for application in electrical industries can be supplied. Epoxy Insulators up to 33 KV are being regularly supplied by us.

Tubing's are available in a variety of material type designed to operate at a range of temperature from -55oC to +135oC. The tubing's can be thin walled, standard wall and thick wall and is supplied with or without adhesive inner coating. It is all flame retardant or self extinguishing and has a range of shrink ratio from 2:1 to 4:1 can be supplied in a variety of colors. Heavy wall, Kynar and silicon tubing's also available.

BGB make Gang Operated Air Break off load disconnecting Switch. tilting type, for use on single and three phase systems and are designed for sectionalizing purpose and for isolation of associated apparatus. Each pole consists of Hot dip Galvanized steel channel
base with three insulators per phase as per BSS/ISS, non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns of adequate section to break magnetizing current of the transformer. Horizontal G.I Pipe of adequate length for phase separation and operation form the
ground level with operation handle complete in both On and Off position.
