In addition, it is also used in leather dyeing and leather finishes. | Solvent Black We offer Solvent Black 5 that is extensively used Bakelite (Phenolic) Molding Powders and in alcoholic solvents, spirit varnishes & lacquers, spirit wood stains, aniline black marking inks and spirit finishes for leather printing inks. It is also used in U/F stoving lacquers. Water insoluble, it can be easily dissolved in phenoxy ethanol, cellosolve, benzyl alcohol, diacetone alcohol and phenyl ethyl alcohol. It is also soluble in oleic & stearic acid.
