BHP Air slides are modular in construction, designed for low power consumption and for better efficiency. Air slides depend on gravity to move the material along. They are inclined in the range of 6-10 degrees for moving fine materials. A relatively small volume of air is passed through a porous membrane into the material to make it flow. Air slides are often used to receive material from bucket elevators at the top of the silo, in silo extraction system or pre-heater tower and move the material nearly horizontally. Powdery material with temperature up to 200 deg. can be conveyed.

Additional water supply system in tray to control water requirements.
Apron Feeders are provided for extraction of material from hoppers and bins and for applications having high impact loads. These feeders are used for controlled volumetric feeding of bulk materials. The apron feeders have reinforced double beaded overlapping pan design and heavy-duty frame construction to absorb high impact loads and to conduct positive extraction from hoppers/silos. The apron feeders are tailor made for handling any type of application from feeding run-of-mine quarry rock with lumps as large as 2000 mm dumped on to the feeder to light duty applications for extracting crushed material from small bins. BHP Apron feeders are made in three different basic designs such as Heavy Duty Frame roller supported feeders, Outboard roller supported feeders and Light Duty Chain roller supported feeders. Each of the three types is available in a wide range of sizes and custom designed features to meet specific applications.BHP has supplied heavy-duty apron feeders for handling 1400 TPH of run-of-mine limestone up to 1500 mm in size for feeding the primary crushers. Totally enclosed box type feeders have been provided for various applications where false air entry in to the conveying system has to be avoided. Box feeders up to 1000 TPH capacity have been supplied for limestone applications.

BHP Bucket Elevators are designed to handle all types of critical applications of the process industries. BHP Bucket Elevators equipment combine the most advanced design with optimum selection of components and world class manufacturing techniques to meet all application and capacity requirements. The complete line of bucket elevators include large capacity centrifugal discharge elevators, continuous discharge slow speed elevators and combined discharge RP design bucket elevators and industrial duty elevators for light duty applications. This range of elevators can meet any application requirement. The high capacity centrifugal discharge BHP bucket elevators are built specifically for severe service and round the clock operation requirements for process industries like cement, for handling materials up to 50 mm lump size. Whenever there is a requirement for elevating large lump bulk material or high volumes of friable materials at slow speeds, BHP continuous discharge bucket elevator with twin strand chains is offered. For elevating materials with the large variation in particle size from fines to 75 -100 mm lumps, we provide combined discharge RP bucket elevators. For medium duty applications, a wide range of industrial duty bucket elevators are available. BHP bucket elevators are available both with Chain and Belt designs. Inherent characteristics of the material being elevated and the application requirements determine which type of bucket elevator is best suited for the application. BHP has supplied chain bucket elevator with lifts in excess of 75 meters and belt bucket elevators with lifts in excess of 105 meters. Capacities up to 1500 metric tones per hour are feasible. BHP Engineers have supplied more than 600 bucket elevators in India and other countries for a variety of applications and industries.

BHP Chain conveyors and feeders are designed to handle abrasive materials like fly ash, hot clinker, hot lime, coal, limestone lumps, etc. Various designs of chains are available for drag chain conveyor, en-masse conveyor and scraper/flight chain conveyor applications. These include drop forged chains, engineered steel plate chains with various designs of attachments. For handling abrasive materials, special hard face welded chains and attachments are available. These chains overcome all deficiencies inherent in the cast steel chain designs. Drag/Flight conveyors incorporate chains with scraper bars or attachments that push the material in an enclosed and dust tight trough. Special design troughs are also available that provide airtight sealing and prevent false air to enter the conveying system. Multiple discharge conveyor designs can be provided depending on the applications. BHP has supplied chain conveyors for handling ESP dust, coal, sand, clinker, gypsum, lime stone, raw meal, slag dust, etc

BHP Pan conveyors are designed to meet your material handling requirements, convey material both horizontally and up to 60 degrees inclination. Various designs of aprons and pans are available including the AFT pan design, deep bucket conveyor design and apron pan designs to meet any application requirements. The AFT pan design incorporates precision formed overlapping steel pans with lip contact between adjacent pans and between adjacent side plates of pans. Spillage is minimized even at steep inclines or when the pans articulate over the head or tail shafts. This design of pans is ideally suited for handling hot clinker in the cement plants or for conveying materials from fines to 150 mm lump size. The deep bucket conveyors are offered for handling materials up to 60 deg. steep inclination. Various apron conveyor designs are offered for diverse applications of primary crushed ore and rock, cement clinker, sugar cane, casting, solid waste, baled paper, slag, coal, pellets, hot sinter, steel pellets etc.BHP engineers has supplied pan conveyors with center distance in excess of 110 meters and have the reputation of having supplied one of the world's largest pan conveyors to Indonesia with a vertical lift of 65 meters and inclination of 45 deg.
BHP is proud to introduce its BAZER's Fine Screw Washer SW0900, packed with a host of features that make it reliable, robust and easily adjusted to a variety of tough applications in the aggregate, mining, cement and steel industries. BAZER Fine screw washer is ideally suited for removing material in application such as fines recovery, sand manufacturing, concrete reclamation, and municipal waste removal. Built with large, three stage gearboxes and outboard lower bearing assemblies, the units are designed for operating life and maintenance ease. BAZER's washing equipment is fabricated with heavy duty tubs, ensuring an operating life that will exceed that of the competition.
