Billet refers to a cast semi finished product. A billet is typically cast to a rectangular, hexagonal or round cross section compatible with secondary processing, e.g. forging. It can be produced either as coil or cut lengths.

Hardened & Tempered Strips of Low, Medium & High alloy carbon steel is Produced with a Unique proccesing faciltiy is introduced first time in India. Liquid metal bath quenching with automatic computerised temperature control system is employed which is different from the conventionally used oil quenching process. The process to produce Bainitic steel strips having unique combination of hardness with ductibility that improves the toughness property.
The hardening and tempering furnace line is from world leader EBNER - Austria. The strip grinding and polishing line to achieve the desired surface finish are from BREUER - Germany. The edge profiling Machine to provide desired shape to edge of the Hardened & Tempered Strip is from JULIUS - Germany and slitting machine equipped with tools from NEUENKAMP - Germany is from DAEHYUN - Korea.

Sponge iron, also called direct reduced iron, is the product created when iron ore is reduced to metallic iron, usually with some kind of carbon (charcoal, etc), at temperatures below the melting point of iron. This results in a spongy mass, sometimes called a bloom, consisting of a mix of incandescent wrought iron and slag.
Use Of Sponge Iron
Sponge iron is not useful in itself, but can be processed to create wrought iron. The sponge is removed from the furnace, called a bloomery, and repeatedly beaten with heavy hammers and folded over to remove the slag, oxidise any carbon or carbide and weld the iron together. This treatment usually creates wrought iron with about three percent slag and a fraction of a percent of other impurities. Further treatment may add controlled amounts of carbon, allowing various kinds of heat treatment (e.g. "steeling"). Today, sponge iron is created by reducing iron ore without melting it. This makes for an energy-efficient feedstock for specialty steel manufacturers which used to rely upon scrap metal.
Special grade tubes like, SAE 1541, SAE 1010, SAE 1020, SAE 1030, Medium Carbon Tubes and High tensile strength tubes for special applications are also available as per customers requirements in ERW / ERW Annealed / CEW / CEW Annealed conditions.
The cold rolled high tensile steel strapping is specially heat treated to provide high strength and toughness for packaging application. On this high speed and high precision online heat treatment line, the special strap paints are applied for strapping and cured by infrared wave curing system using quartz lamps. For tension transmission high gloss wax is applied and cured by infrared wave curing system. The allied products such as whole variety of metal steels and strapping tools are also available to our valued customers.
