BIO-SYSTEMS INDIA’S program is based upon bacterial supplementation or Bio-augmentation. Bio-augmentation is a general term for adding specialized micro-organisms or enzymes to biological systems. Basically, a conventional treatment system has a primary, secondary and tertiary treatment. In the primary treatment system, the wastewater is neutralized to keep it fit for further treatment in the secondary stage, which is of biological in nature, (Aerobic or Anaerobic system); tertiary is the final phase treatment.
Our Bio-systems are utilized in the secondary stage by addition of specialized micro-organisms.
The purpose of bio-augmentation is to improve upon a particular aspect of process performance and also to optimize wastewater treatment plant performance at reduced cost.
