Spine
The treatment of diseases of the spinal, one of the most sensitive structures of the human skeleton, keeps presenting us with enormous challenges. But we would not be a successful manufacturer of spinal implants if we did not master these challenges with ever increasing consistency, innovative thinking, and technical competence.
We carry out both bio-mechanical and clinical studies, and every day, the latest scientific findings are being incorporated into our work. As a result, implants for the surgical treatment of injuries or diseases, as well as mis alignments or degenerative changes of the spinal, are continuously improved. Successful products with a personal touch that have been created in collaboration with international spine surgeons. The implants and instruments for spine surgery by Biotek are used in surgical treatment of injuries and illnesses as well as deformities or degenerative changes in the spinal column. Our product range includes not only rod-and-screw systems for the cervical and thoraco-lumbar spine and cages for inter somatic fusion, but also dynamic systems for non-fusion stabilization of the spine.

XEN-21 5.0 Pedicular Screw Spine System ( Double Lock ) | Item Code: Spinal-Screw-System The XEN-21 5.0 Pedicular Screw Spine System features meticulously designed and superbly crafted implants and instrumentation, which address a wide range of indications demanding surgical stabilization of the spine. XEN-21 Spine System highly emphasizes on its biocompatibility as it comes in Medical Grade Titanium Ti-6Al-4V ELI. XEN-21 system utilizes a low profile design that incorporates anatomic hooks, polyaxial screws, and a dual closure mechanism. The load sharing design of the 5.0mm titanium rod allows for proper tension bend principle to be applied when used with proper anterior column support.
The system addresses a wide range of indications in spine surgery including: • Spondylolisthesis • Spine trauma • Degenerative Disc Disease • Reconstruction surgery in tumor and infection • Correction of spinal deformities
The key characteristics of the system include:- • Posterior or Anterior use with the same Implant components and Instrumentation. • Screws available in Monoaxial and Polyaxial versions with buttress threads and tapered core diameter for better strength. • Reduction Screw with uniquely designed tabs permit controlled reduction of the spine. • No bulky instruments required, increasing tactile feel and permitting direct visualization during procedure. • Anatomic Hooks are specifically designed to ensure the best fit available. • The Delivery system(Cases and trays) designed to make the system more user friendly. • Direct Anchor Attachment- Rod is attached to screw or hook directly in line. This minimizes the moment arm and profile, and increases the strength. • Dual Closure-positive expansion lock is most secure mechanism in the market. The system provides multiple points of contact on the rod. • Closure mechanism provides footprint to apply enough torque to assure rod is seated in the implant. • Universal anchor attachment- All components utilize the same attachment to the rod, minimizing confusion and time. • Monoaxial and Polyaxial screws available in diameters 5.3mm & 6.0mm with lengths 30mm-50mm • Spondylolisthesis reduction screws available in diameters 5.3mm & 6.0mm with lengths 30mm-50mm • 5.0mm diameter Rods in lengths 50mm-400mm • Cross-link assembly • Staple washer for anterior fixation • Hooks-pedicle; Supralaminar; Infralaminar & Transverse process • Available in material-Titanium alloy | | Ask for Quote |
XENICA Anterior Cervical Plate System Item Code: Cervical-Plate-System Indications • Is intended for anterior interbody screw fixation of the cervical spine. • The system is indicated for use in the temporary stabilization of the anterior spine during the development of cervical spinal fusions in patients with degenerative disc disease (as defined by neck pain of discogenic origin with degeneration of the disc confirmed by patient history and radiographic studies), trauma (including fractures), tumors, deformity (defined as kyphosis, lordosis, or scoliosis), pseudoarthrosis, and/or failed previous fusions. Material • Available in Titanium alloy.
FEATURES • Self-tapping screws are easy to use and converge at side to create a strong purchase. • Screw sizes easily accommodate individual anatomical situations. • A fitting profile creates better fit • Features a rigid, pre-lordosed plate designed for better anatomical fit with little or no plate bending. • Sleek design minimizes esophageal irritation. • A full-range of plate sizes further ensures appropriate fit. • Instrumentation designed for ease of use | | Ask for Quote | |
Cages For Lumbar Interbody Fusion | Item Code: Lumbar-Interbody-Fusion XENCAGE Harme’s Cage The use of interbody devices, such as the Harme’s cage, has become increasingly common over the last decade. They offer several advantages, including immediate anterior stabilization, re-approximation of the intervertebral disc height and obviation of bone graft harvesting from outside the surgical site. Additionally, they may relax bending movements on accessory instrumentation, such as anterior plating systems or posterior transpedicular fixation, by providing early anterior column support and enhancing bony fusion over time. Inevitable subsidence of the sharp edges of the cage into the adjacent endplates acts against dislocation. Such added support may actually help reduce instrumentation failure after anterior corpectomy. • Available in diameters 10mm; 13mm; 16mm & 19mm and length 50mm.
CAGE-LOC EXPANDABLE CAGE Unstable injuries of the spine may result from fracture of a vertebral body, vertebral tumours or post-traumatic deformities. In such cases, restoration of the load bearing capacity of the anterior column and of the spinal balance is indicated. Techniques that use autologous graft only, harvested from the patient’s iliac crest, can be associated with complications such as pain from the donor site or graft dislocation. An alternative for the surgical treatment of these patients is the use of a load bearing implant for complete or partial vertebral replacement. The main objective for the development of CAGE-LOC Cage was to design a versatile system for the treatment of vertebral fractures at a wide range of spinal levels. A key feature is the ability to extend to the desired height intra-operatively. The extension mechanism of CAGE-LOC Cage is extremely simple and intuitive, thereby exerting distraction forces onto the anterior column of the spine. Repeated adjustment of height is straightforward and therefore allows for accurate restoration of the spinal curvature. The extension mechanism is securely locked by screws. • Available in diameters 10.0mm; 13.0mm; 16.0mm & 19.0mm
XEN-TC Cage For Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion The TLIF technique offers a unilateral approach to the disc space. This posterior approach offers many advantages compared to traditional interbody fusion techniques, such as unilateral facet resection and preservation of the lamina. In addition it minimizes dural retraction, and reduces the risk of intra dural scarring. The XEN-TC TLIF Cage has been designed to enhance the benefits of this unilateral technique, with a 'banana' shaped cage that offers strength and simplicity in a single implant design. Fulfilling the biological and mechanical functions required of an Interbody fusion device the XEN-TC Cage meets the structural requirements demanded for anterior column support. The device is manufactured from titanium alloy allowing increased strength and enhanced stability of the construct. In order to facilitate an environment for fusion to occur, it is essential that the disc space is prepared thoroughly.
XEN -PC Cage For Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion The XEN-PC CAGE is indicated for an open posterior approach using autogenous bone graft in patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) at one or two spinal levels from L2-S1 whose condition requires the use of interbody fusion combined with posteriolateral fusion (360° fusion) and posterior pedicle screw fixation. The XEN-PC Cage is indicated for use at one or two spinal levels from L4-S1. These patients may have had a previous non-fusion spinal surgery at the involved spinal level(s). Degenerative disc disease is defined as discogenic back pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies. | | Ask for Quote |
