Birdi Engineering Industries was established on 1st October, 1984, jointly promoted by S.Darshan Singh (Director-Finance & Marketing) along with his three brothers S.Mohan Singh (Director- General Affairs), Er. Amarpal Singh (Director - Works) and Surinder Pal Singh (Director - Works). The firm has privilege of being at the service of Bicycle trade through its countless patrons all over the country and abroad. The family has a vast experience as it is engaged in this business line for more than five decades. Not only the four directors but all the people in the organization are committed towards the motto "Customer Satisfaction Through Better Quality". The firm specializes in the manufacturing of Carriers, Stands and Chainwheel & Crank sets. The firm adheres itself towards the persuasion of key principles like continuous improvement in Quality, Cost Control, on time delivery of goods and Flexibility so as to take care of changing market needs.

The firm's production plants are equipped with modern and upto date machinery. The unit has it's own Electroplating plant and Paint shop.
