About Us

Birla Electricals Limited, a company of Yash Birla Group was founded in the year 1996, to manufacture and market various small home appliances in India.

In the year 1996, Yash Birla Group & Italian white goods major De longhi S P A entered in collaboration, to market various range of consumer durables and home appliances in India.

In the first year of its operation, the company launched Electric Oil Filled Room Heating Systems first time in India under the brand name Birla De longhi . These room-heating systems received overwhelming response from customers who till date were depending on obsolete & age old technology of heating rods/ conventional heaters.

On 12^th December 2001, the company launched the entire range of small appliances of De longhi in India. Earlier only Electric Oil filled room heating systems were marketed. The entire range was received well in the north and was a resounding success.
