In terms of analog, digital and hybrid ICs, BiSS 2370 Series 32-bit controllers is a latest development. Single unified firmware and system software powers the entire 2370 family of controllers along with modular GDS application software. Cost effective solution is offered by these controllers in real-time digital control of servo-driven mechanical test systems including electric screw, hydraulic, pneumatic and electromagnetic drives. Solutions are provided for different types of applications, such as retrofit of aging test systems through developed laboratory automation, motion control systems, including 6DOF shake tables and multi-channel structural test systems.

For single channel, multi-channel and multi-station configurations, the 2370 Series controller are a single platform. Currently, there is availability of three model configurations such as MTL32SS single-station solution, MTL32SA Standalone system and MTL32MS multi-station solution. A separate host computer and a PC running MS-Windows are required by 2370SS and 2370MS controllers. This computer is capable of performing various operations, system set-up calibration and tuning. Moreover, this computer can run application software efficiently.

In case of the 2370SA, the complete control system is combined into a single compact enclosure, complete with a big color touch screen interface. Different types of operation can be performed by the operator related to the test system using this unit. GDS environment is one of the unique features of 2370 Series systems with the help of which the control system is converted into an application server. The additional networked MS-Windows terminals can be connected with its own keyboard and mouse and Windows desktop. Moreover, typical configuration appears overleaf.
