Established in 1993, BiSS, an ISO 9001:2000 Certified company manufactures and services material testing systems like Electro Hydraulic Universal Testing Machines, Three Axis Shake Table, etc. and accessories. BiSS machines evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components through tension, compression, flexure, axial-torsion, and fatigue tests. We also offer a broad range of services including calibration, training, technical support, refurbishment of old and legacy systems as well as assistance with laboratory management. Contamination-insensitive servo-hydraulics : This technology renders hydraulics less expensive to maintain, with practically no loss in performance or durability. TRA servo actuators are rated to perform satisfactorily up to 100 Hz cycling frequency and have been used in applications involving velocities up to 7.5m/s.
Green Power : Test Resources hydraulic powerpacks are arguably the most energy efficient across the industry. Our pumps in the range 2 to 1000 LPM flow rate are equipped with servo-controlled variable frequency drives (VFD) and intelligent field programmable logic control. They emit less noise, consume up to 80% reduced power and dissipate less heat than conventional ones. Some customers report
energy savings that recover initial investment within 3 years of usage.
Robust Tooling and Transducers : Over the years, the BiSS Design Group has come up with a range of innovative solutions to gripping and measurement requirements. For example, the unique self-aligning grips for shock absorber testing and tension-compression lowcycle fatigue specimens meet or exceed even the most stringent customer demands, while at the same time remaining affordable thanks to their robust implementation.
