We had a modest beginning with the manufacturing of industrial, commercial and domestic type of Luminaries, in a factory space of 460 sq meters area.
Year 1962 : Baliga Lighting innovatively designed and pioneered the manufacture of Explosion proof lighting equipment in India. Ever since it rose to greater prominence as it graduated from a luminaire manufacturer to a full fledged Explosion proof equipment manufacturer thanks to the continuous interaction with the industry and their valuable feedback.
It is continuously adding more products to it's basket for which it has won accolades from customers. It has become an industry benchmark for quality. The journey over the past 45 + years has promoted Baliga Lighting to be at the helm of flameproof manufacturers in India. It's built up facility in Chennai is about 4,200 sq meters, in a plot of 25,000 sq meters.
Having branch offices in Mumbai, Vadodara , Pune with agents and dealers covering the length and breadth of india, Baliga has spread it's tentacles to reach out to it's global customers, by opening a branch office in Dubai.

The brand 'Baliga' implies unmatched quality. Being an ISO 9001: 2000 certified Company all products are subjected to stage wise inspection based on international quality norms. Needless to say, all products are certified and approved by the standard certifying authorities. We are also now 'ATEX' certified.

Manufacturing works located at Medavakkam, Chennai with state of the Art facilities. The Marketing Team is based in the factory to enable close co-ordination with the Customer Service Department and thus approach near to 100% customer delight.
All business activities are computerized. We have in place an ERP software for Order Processing. Every Department is provided with a good no. of LAN connected Desktop PCs, the communication being vide cc mails.
Our Corporate / Head Office is based in Alwarpet, Chennai. Our Finance and Accounts Team operate from our Head Office. We have a network of branch Offices located in Dubai, Mumbai, Vadodara and Pune. Our Top Management comprises of Stalwarts in the flameproof equipment technology. Their valuable guidance and knowledge sharing ensures a high level of performance on part of the middle and lower management.
