BLIONTM-A pinhole free homogeneous thick coating of PVDF (KYNAR), FEP, PFA, ETFE, ECTFE (HALAR). It has the extraordinary chemical resistance on chemical equipments parts. Any articles of intricacy shape can be processed. Thickness from 500 to 1000 microns. Any articles of intricate configurations can be processed.

Coated Studs, Nuts And Bolts

Fluoropolymer (PTFE)/ Teflon/ XYLAN Coated Fasteners, Studs, Nuts, Bolts, Washers best suited for installations in offshore platforms, petrochemical and chemical plants, installations near the sea and in corrosive environments.

The resin-like bonded coating provides a low coefficient of friction and excellent resistance to many chemicals and acids. PTFE dry film provides lubricity, thus preventing galling in breaking out.
  • Fasteners, stampings and many other parts are coated with a material that contains Fluoropolymer / PTFE ( Teflon® / Xylan®).
  • With the PTFE added to the coating it creates superior corrosion resistance and helps prevent gauling of threaded parts.
  • The corrosion resistance is up to 750+ hours in a ASTM B117 salt fog test, depending on the coating being used.

Since 1972, with the introduction of FLUOROPOLYMER coating in America, TEFCOTTM coated studs bolts and nuts are widely used for enhanced corrosion resistance, permanent thread lubrication and consistently low applied torque to induced tension (clamping load). Since then, almost all international petrochemical, oil drilling rigs and chemical process industries have specified these studs for both offshore and land based applications. Apart from these TEFCOTTM coated B7 stud, bolts are installed under sea splash zones and chemical environments with great success.

Teflon® / PTFE Non-stick Coating

Non-stick, Non-wetting, Anti-static, self-lubricating, heat-resistant properties, thickness from 25 microns and above. Very low adhesion to most materials, excellent water repellent, low-coefficient of friction, chemical inertness, and unusual thermal stability. Temperature resistance -100°C to +260°C. Not attacked by corrosive chemical or strong solvent.

Non-Stick: Very few solid substances will permanently adhere to TefcotTM coating and while tacky materials may show some adhesion, almost all substances release easily.

Non-Wetting: TEFCOTTM surface are both oleo phobic and hydrophobic, they are not readily wet, clean-up is easier, more through and in many cases self-cleaning.

Heat Resistance: There is no decomposition of TEFCOTTM below 250oC, insignificant decomposition between 250o and 300° which requires no special precautions.

Low Coefficient Of Friction: The coefficient of friction of TefcotTM © is generally in the range of 0.05 to 0.20, depending on the load sliding speed.

Cryogenic Stability: TEFCOT™ will withstand severe temperature extremes without loss of physical properties.

Unique Electrical Properties: Over a wide range of frequencies, TEFCOTTM has high dielectric strength, a low dissipation factor, and very high surface receptivity.

Chemical Resistance: TEFCOTTM is normally unaffected by chemical environments. The only chemicals known to affect all are the alkali metals and highly reactive fluorinating agents.

PLASCOTTM - Modern new approach the plastic coating to combine metals and of plastic into a single functional part. Various sizes, shapes and intricacy can be coated with plastic Powder like Polyethylene, PVC, CAB, Plastisol, Epoxy, Polyester, Nylon, PTFE, PP, PU etc. Any article of intricate configuration can be processed. It ranges form 250 to 1000 microns. Wide color range.

Properties: Metals can be insulated, decorated, self-lubricated and protected from chemicals. Temperature ranges from -1000C to +2600C. Withstands impact force and elongation upto 30%.

TEFVARTM - Its PTFE moulded semi-finished products like rods, cylinders, bush, blocks, sheets, tapes, etched cloth, tubes, pipes, magnetic stirrer and beakers. Available unfilled or filled like glass, graphite, bronze. Available as per the required size and dimension.

PTFE Silicone Adhesive Tape available in extruded and skived films. Any width in length of 36 yards. Standard Thickness of 100 microns and also in other thickness

TEFGLASTM - A combination of PTFE plus glass fiber without and with silicone adhesive. Width is 1000 mm and in continuous length. Glass cloth contribute excellent strength and dimensional stability, exhibit essentially zero flow under heat and pressure and are highly resistant to cut-through. Also in tape and belt form.

Properties: There is no known solvents which can react with this materials. Temperature resistance from - 100°C to + 260°C and also resist upto 300oC for a short duration. Non-stick, non-wetting, self-lubricating, heat resistance and electrical insulation properties.

FUROLINTM - PTFE lined steel pipe size from 25 to 150 mm NB length of 3000 mm. Used for both vacuum and pressure condition. Also supplied 900 and 450 elbows, tees, reducers, reducing flanges, blind flanges, spacers dip pipes, spargers and thermocouple.

POLYPORTM - Porous Plastic Filter Material of Polypropylene, PTFE, HDPE, Cellulose Acetate, Polystyrene ranges from 5 to 250 microns. Form of rods, hollow pipes, sheets and joined parts of porous with a non-porous plastic and can be moulded as per your drawing and dimension.

Material: POLPOR makes its porous plastics from many thermoplastic polymers including: Polypropylene (MGF), Polyethylene (DPL), Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVF), Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA), Styrene Acrylo Nitrite (SAN), Polyurethane (PUR), Polytetrafluoroethylene (TFE), Polystyrene (PTR), Cellulose Acetate (CAB).

Availability: Porous POLYPOR™ are available in various configurations. BLINEXTM Porous Products Group offers a line of standard products in a variety of materials, thickness and grades suitable for a wide range of applications.
  • Polyethylene (PE) is offered in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Coarse grades.
  • Polypropylene (PP) is available in Medium and Coarse grades.

The sheet grades in this product line have an average mean pore size in the 7-150 micron range with void volumes of 35-50%.


BLINEXTM Porous Plastics are naturally hydrophobic, but aqueous solutions which can be forced through under pressure. If a gravity flow of aqueous solutions is desired, BLINEXTM can make the sheet hydrophilic with a special treatment procedure.

BLINEXTM Sheet materials are widely used for filtering, diffusing, venting, wicking, fluidizing, air conveying and as membrane supports. Specific applications include column chromatography supports, ion exchange resin support, battery flame arrestors, fluidized bed air pads and reservoirs for liquids.

Materials Handling Sheet: BLINEXTM Material Handling Sheet is a special high density polyethylene porous plastic that has specific usage in fluidizing/powder coating and material handling/conveying applications including:

PolyporTM - This recently developed material, which is suitable for all sorts of medical device. When application in medical requires a filter, vent, wick, diffuser, support medium or self-sealing material first consider the PolyporTM Porous Product Line.

The advantageous of this product are it is harmless from physiological point of view and Sterilized in an autoclave (up to 130°C), which will not react with any Acids or Bases and we can supply it in any size and shapes, in pore size ranging from 1 to 100 micron. This unique material offers you the venting or filtering characteristic of our typical porous material-until the material comes in contact with an aqueous solution. When a liquid such as water or blood, comes in contact with the material it seals off the flow completely.
