Established in the year 1990, we, BMV Fragrances Private Limited, are an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, engaged in processing, supplying, exporting and wholesaling of natural fragrances, absolutes, reconstituted bases & industrial perfumes. Our assortment is acknowledged for its mesmerizing fragrance and purity, by clients spread all across the globe. We offer aroma therapies and body massage oil like clove bud absolute, styrax absolute, sandal super, vetiver standard, ruh kewda, resinoid olibanum super, resinoid elemi etc.

Our organization was established by a great intellectual & visionary, Dr. Baldev Gulati. Holding an M. Sc. (Hons.) degree, he has also done Ph. D. in the field of essential oils. He came into this sector with a vision to develop the fragrance industry in India. He conducted extensive market surveys to gain expertise in the cultivation of aromatic & medicinal plants and production process of essential oils, and then established his own organization, BMV Fragrance Pvt. Ltd. to contribute in this sector on a large scale. His journey of professional growth, along with the most important milestones, has been highlighted below:

• He started his career way back in the year 1952, in the field of Essential Oils
• Between 1956- 1960, he conducted extensive surveys to understand precisely the process of cultivation of aromatic plants and production of essential oils in India, which, in turn, helped him lay the foundation of a Five Year Plan for the development of fragrance
• In 1963, Dr. Gulati established a Centre for R&D work, in an area of 250 acres, near Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar (Uttar Pradesh, India), to gain a know-how on the large scale cultivation process of aromatic and medicinal plants, such as Mentha Species, and Ocimum Basilicum (Indian Basil)
• This Centre also helped him produce oils from the above mentioned aromatic plants, emanated therein.
• In the period between 1974-1978, Dr. Gulati worked as a Scientist In-Charge of Drug Research Laboratory (Farms & Factories), in the state of Jammu & Kashmir
• Here, he worked on large scale cultivation and processing of both aromatic and medicinal plants, in about 2500 acres land, and helped develop various new essential oils such as Artemisea Vestata, Ferua Jaeshkeana, Juniper Leaf, and Melissa Officinales (Lemon Balm). Hops was another very important item developed on large scale
• Thereafter, Dr. Gulati also served as the Chief Executive of Meghalaya Phytochemicals Ltd. for a few years
• He also worked in the United Nations Development Programme, as a Senior Consultant & Chief Technical Advisor, on various projects of its specialized agencies, including United Nations Industrial Development Organization (Vienna), F A O (Rome) and I T C Unctad / Gatt (Geneva) for more than 13 years
• Dr. Gulati has expanded his perspective and enhanced his innovative skills by manifolds, while working in different environments of varied countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Iran, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Pakistan, Kenya, Kuwait, Egypt and several regions of Europe
• Our mentor also holds about 140 research and miscellaneous publications, to his credit
• He was also the Honorable President of 11th International Congress of Essential Oils, Fragrances & Flavors (1989), held in New Delhi (India)

After gathering an irreplaceable experience of about 56 years in the sphere of cultivation, research and development of aromatic plants, and production of essential oils Dr. Gulati set up BMV Fragrances Pvt. Ltd. This establishment was particularly developed for processing natural plant products from locally available and imported material. Later on the organization went on to produce industrial perfumes, reconstituted essential oils, absolutes, other similar products.
