FEM consists of 3 types of portable microprocessor-based fuel efficiency monitors. They are as cited below: FEM-1 measures %O2 and C. FEM-2 measures O2, °C and CO. FEM-5 measures O2°C, CO, SO2, NO & NO2. The microprocessor calculates values of percentage combustion efficiency i.e. net & gross, percentage carbon dioxide and percentage excess air for types of fuel. The microprocessor and architecture ensures the simplicity in use, trouble-free performances, cost-effectiveness and reliability.

The analysis data is displayed on a 16 x 2 LC alphanumeric display. Series FEM incorporates microprocessor key controls that are fully menu driven. Stored data can be viewed or downloaded to a computer or can also be printed out by an external printer. A built-in pump draws flue gas through the probe. The instrument works on an in-built rechargeable battery and recharged on 220 VAC mains supply.

Drum Pak helps in preventing unplanned boiler shutdowns due to drum level and feed water pressure. It increases safety for personnel as well as for equipment. It is basically preconfigured single, two or three element control strategies. It is an optional level instrumentation with application-specific installation and operations documentation.

SteamPAK is used for boiler pressure control and added with O2 sensor, TrimPAK helps in combustion control also. This can be provided for oil fired boiler and solid fuel fired boilers. it is a pre-programmed controller, which does not require any set up / program work at site saving time and money.

Vortex Coolers are an affordable, low maintenance, and easy to install alternative for thermal management of electrical cabinets and control panels. Applications

Today's small and compact, multi-function electronic controls, variable speed drives, servos and programmable logic controllers are extremely sensitive to heat and contamination. Excessive heat causes components to "cook", digital displays to misread, controls to drift, and breakers to trip below their rated loads. The result is often lost productivity from machine or line shutdowns. Fans often provide inadequate cooling and commonly pull in dirty humid air creating another source of failure.

Air conditioners require ongoing maintenance and are relatively expensive, large and difficult to install. With no moving parts to wear out, Vortex Coolers use an internal vortex tube to convert factory compressed air into a low pressure, cold air stream that is distributed throughout the cabinet. The chilled air stream creates a slight positive pressure inside the enclosure to prevent dirt or dust from entering - even in the most challenging environments. From small computer cabinets and touch screen control panels to large electrical panel boxes, Vortex Coolers offer efficient and reliable enclosure protection from heat and dirt related shutdowns.

Installing VFD for ID fan, FD fan and Blowers helps in saving electrical energy. In a typical boiler application, fans are provided with butterfly or multi-vane dampers, which is not adequate in precise combustion air control and electrical energy saving. Replacing it with drive helps in optimising the combustion air, thus reducing excess air level, helps in fuel saving apart from the electrical energy saved.

We can provide automation along with drive for combustion control and pressure control. We do not advise VFD for boiler feed water pumps and heater circulating pump, as they reduce the pressure, which is not desirable.
