Drum Pak helps in preventing unplanned boiler shutdowns due to drum level and feed water pressure. It increases safety for personnel as well as for equipment. It is basically preconfigured single, two or three element control strategies. It is an optional level instrumentation with application-specific installation and operations documentation. DrumPAK ensures water  level is maintained in close tolerance, thus ensuring quality of steam apart from saving the boiler. On the  panel, level, steam flow rate and steam flow totaliser are displayed for easy understanding. Output may be connected  to DCS. Suitable for all types of boilers.

FEM consists of 3 types of portable microprocessor-based fuel efficiency monitors. They are as cited below: FEM-1 measures %O2 and C. FEM-2 measures O2, °C and CO. The analysis data is displayed on a 16 x 2 LC alphanumeric display. Series FEM incorporates microprocessor key controls that are fully menu driven. We  offer Micromod TrimPAK for boilers and heaters. Excess air in the combustion leads to wastage of fuel. O2 is measured online and the signal is fed to TrimPAK. Boiler pressure is also fed to the TrimPAK. TrimPAK gives output to  blower and oil regulator in stepless mode for steady pressure  maintenace along with excess air control. This can also be used for solid fuel fired boilers and fluidised  bed boilers. ID, FD, Secondary fans, fuel feeders are controlled by combustion controller  through VFD / electro pneumatic actuated  dampers. TrimPAK offers excellent payback.

Micromod

Installing VFD for ID fan, FD fan and Blowers helps in saving electrical energy. In a typical boiler application, fans are provided with butterfly or multi-vane dampers, which is not adequate in precise combustion air control and electrical energy saving. Replacing it with drive helps in optimising the combustion air, thus reducing excess air level, helps in fuel saving apart from the electrical energy saved.

We can provide tailor made Micromod USA controllers along with drive for combustion control and pressure control. We do not advise VFD for boiler feed water pumps and heater circulating pump, as they reduce the pressure, which is not desirable. Combustion tuning is critical with drives and with our proven expertise, we shall offer the best solution.
