SHOKOB - a Honeycomb is made out of kraft paper in hexagonal cells, sandwiched between two corrugated fibre board. It is rigid, light weight, easy to handle and ideal low cost alternate for foam polyethylene, foam polystyrene, woodwool, paper shavings, rubberized coir because of its high compression strength and exceptional cushioning properties. The perfect adhesion of each cell wall of honey comb enhances resistance to perpendicular crushing forces uniformly through the vertical surfaces of the cell. Honey comb does not permit stress concentration at any one point.
