In 1982, BONNY SPORTS was founded in Taichung, Taiwan. BONNY SPORTS was a marketing company instead of the producer at the initial stage. Through the integration of resources and the right strategies, BONNY SPORTS expanded quite fast in Taiwan. Many players and coaches used Bonny Snaky tennis rackets at the time. Successful Brand marketing and good reputation resulted. In order to increases competitiveness, BONNY SPORTS started to focus on the world market. BONNY SPORTS chose to set up a small, R&D and qualified base and responded factory and focus on the niche market and gained new opportunity to grow up. Base on outstanding quality and good customer service, BONNY SPORTS successfully became OEM partner of Yonex, Prince and Carlton. BONNY SPORTS moved whole production line to China in 1991. With sufficient labor resources and detailed training system, BONNY SPORTS integrated the advantage of China and Taiwan to deal with innovation and outstanding quality. At the mean time, BONNY SPORTS was also ready for its OBM, distributed and promoted the BONNY brand in the grant China market.

In 1998, the economy in China was in advance growth. BONNY SPORTS started again to promote BONNY brand aggressively but OEM partners also gradually canceled the orders because of the conflict of market. The brand was still not famous at that time and the OEM orders was losing. This was the dilemma that BONNY must face. At this difficult period, BONNY SPORTS begun to diversity products. BONNY SPORTS successfully developed graphite skate boards, carbon outsoles, hockey sticks, etc. BONNY SPORTS also built cooperative relationship with Nike, Adidas and some chain stores. This shift made BONNY SPORTS be even stronger.
