About UsBorda Fabrics Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2007 and is a 100% subsidiary of Borda Group which has been in manufacturing industry for over 35 years. Our vision is to be a major player in Woven Textile manufacturing on contractual basis of job work. 80% of our fabrics produced are for greige (grey) order basis. We work as private contractors for major textile firms for their outsourced fabric manufacturing.
The company has its headquarters in Surat India, and has manufacturing facilities located in Sayan in the outskirts of Surat.
The first phase of the company?s operations were focused on weaving ?consumer textiles? which is garment focused. The focus is now slowly shifting more towards Technical Textiles; Clothtech, Geotech, Indutech, Mobitech, Packtech, Protech, Sportech, and other high performance composite fabrics.
We manufacture our fabrics in a variety of widths, weights, styles and fiber combinations. We are capable of developing fabrics specially engineered for any particular application or clients? demand. Our dedicated team of professionals ensures delivery of the right quality product on time. We are confident that we can weave almost any man-made fiber fabric that our customers require, be it Polyester, Nylon, Acetate or any other fiber.
We have the best techniques, machinery and quality assurance equipment and made major investments in a world-class manufacturing facility located in Sayan, India. Due to our rich industrial background, we have the opportunity to work with some of the best technology providers as well as some of the leading experts in the field who continue to support us in our endeavor.

Our plant has the capacity to manufacture over 8 million meters of greige (grey) polyester fabrics.
Our state-of-the-art textiles manufacturing plant is built at Sayan in Surat, Gujarat the city of textiles in India. Our plant is spread over 3 acres of land with multi storey manufacturing facility with a combined space of over 1,50,000 square foot. The facility consists of 100 Tsudakoma water-jet looms specially imported from Japan. Tsudakoma has always been the pioneers in water-jet looms technology. This has enabled us to confidently offer our fabrics for a wide of applications ranging from garment use such as Shirtings, Suitings, Dresses to Home Textiles such a curtains beddings, covers, draperies, napkins, table cloths.
In additions our fabric range is just not limited to garments but to other industrial uses such a tarpaulins, awnings, shades, car covers, parachutes, air bags and other wide range of industrials and everyday uses.
We have a diverse customer base with sales in both the local and the international markets. The two main markets for export are Europe and the US. About 50% of the total production of griege fabric is consumed locally with rest being exported. The business strategy of BFL is to continuously explore new markets whilst ensuring the highest quality standards for all its products.

Future Expansion:
With a vision to be the leading manufacturer and supplier of polyester fabrics in India, our expansion plan for the year 2011-2012 will include an addition of 100 Tsudakoma brand water-jet looms. This expansion consists of six Karl Mayer warp-knitting machines for our diversification plans into Non Woven textiles. Once the projected expansion completes, we at BFL will have our total manufacturing capability of over 40,000 linear meters of greige fabric daily, which adds up to 15 million meters of fabric annually.
