About Us

Breadworks is a division of Claire Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd and is one of the several successful ventures that are set up by cherian philip and partners in India and the United States. Traveling frequently to France, Germany and US he fell in love with the European Cafes and Boulangeries. Recognizing that the economic and cultural environment in India is ripe for international offerings in Food and Beverages he set up this chain in Bangalore which in many ways is a cosmopolitan city and a melting pot of various cultures and tastes. Breadworks has come to be known now as the “best bread in town" by the media and endeavors to faithfully reproduce an authentic array of offerings and ambience.

Many of the expats in India will say that the one thing that they miss mostly is authentic artisan breads and pastries. The key to our success is our relentless pursuit of quality and use of fresh and virgin ingredients. The virgin wheat that we use is free of chemicals and other additives and our bread is made from original European recipes and baked fresh everyday. Our production and logistics team work tirelessly day after day to ensure that you receive fresh bread and other products everyday and we are paranoid about this and know that only the paranoid survive. Many have tried unsuccessfully to reproduce authentic artisan breads and pastries without much success. James Anthony who is one of the directors and a long term friend and associate of Cherian oversees the operations and is someone who shares this vision and ensures that the products you buy from Breadworks are of the highest quality. We continuously strive to be better everyday and our growing customer base is a proof of our commitment.
