Edible Oil Plants

We have undertaken turnkey projects to set up many edible oil plants. Over the years we have supplied 30 refineries and 30-500 TDP plants on turnkey basis. Our innovative plants can be used for all types of edible oil like rice bran oil, sunflower, soybean, cotton seed and palm oil.

Among our plants Refining of rice bran oil is Our strength . We are proficient in the processing of high FFA rice bran oil to the required final FFA as low as 0.15%, with a color as low as 15 units in 1” cell.

Alcohol Process Plants

Apart from this, we also supply distilleries from liquefaction to fermentation of all types of grains.

Bio-diesel And Bio-fuels Plants

Our range of plants also includes bio-diesel and bio-fuels plants. We have put in our best efforts in the extraction of bio-diesel and ethanol, which is the future renewable energy source of the world. We can supply bio-diesel plants from 1 KL to 100 KL from a vide variety of oils, fatty acids and molasses.

Our plants can be largely used for the esterification of edible oils to produce ethanol. Esterification and trans-esterfication requires the following feed specifications.

FFA Content < 0.1%
Phosphatide Content as phosphorus < 10 ppm
Sulphur Content < 5 ppm
Water Content < 0.10%
Impurities < 0.10%
Temperature 122 oF (50 oC)

Working process

It is based on chemical reaction of triglycerides with methanol to form methyl ester and glycerine in the presence of an alkaline catalyst.
This reaction takes place in the mixing section while the subsequent settling section allows for separation of methyl esters as light phase from glycerin water as heavy phase.
A subsequent counter current washing step for methyl ester removes the by-product methyl ester and produces bio-diesel.
Excess methanol present in glycerin is removed in rectification column.
Industrial grade glycerin is further purified by distillation process in to pharma grade glycerin.

We have two types of heat exchanger shell and tube type heat exchangers. The heat exchangers and condensers are built to meet the requirements of the ASME code, Section VIII, Division I and in accordance with the tubular exchanger manufacturer’s association (TEMA) standards. Its mechanical and thermal design utilizes computerized technology that allows for the optimum performance while considering cost effective space utilization.

Candle Filters

Our range of equipments include high performance oriented candle filters. These are designed to deliver optimum results in filtration. They can be used for filtration of liquids of 1500 kg/hr up to 25000 Kg/Hr. It can be used for fine polishing of oil, up to 5 microns, before packing to impart shine to Edible oils. Further it can also be used in various chemical applications.

Pressure Leaf Filters

We offer pressure leaf filetrs to cater to varied industrial need. These are specially designed for rice bran applications. It consists of special leaves which can take extra bleaching earth for filtration.

The structure of the pressure leaf filters consists of pressure vessel with vertical mounted leaves, mounted on a central outlet filter manifold. These filters are equipped with pneumatic vibrators and pneumatic controlled valve at the bottom for quick cake release. It is a five leaf construction with support membrane and the filter membrane is of Holander Weaves Plain Dutch wire mesh in SS 316L for high temperature and abrasive resistance.

Our vertical pressure leaf filters are available in sizes 5 - 80 square meters. To achieve optimum quality we use SS304 or SS316 carbon steel with rubber lining, PV and PDF coatings for its construction. The leaves can also be constructed using SS316L or as per your requirements.
