Established in 1972 by  Mr. Pratap Narain, Bristol India is one of the country's leading manufacturers and exporters of TMT papers and other products like cardiology paper, neurology paper, fetal monitors, analytical paper, disposable electrode, patient cable, ECG gel, etc. Our products have application amongst the global medical fraternity. We are also the only company in India to have earned the distinction of manufacturing and exporting 120 distinct varieties of cardiology paper for different medical equipments. We are a regular member of  CAPEXIL (Chemical and Allied product Export Promotion Council), Delhi Factory Owner Federation and the Badli Industrial Estate Association.

 

Hierarchy
Three generations of the family have been involved in taking our company to its present height. The process of the steady rise for our organization, was started by Mr. Prakash Narain and Pratap Narain. In the year 1925 they started a printing press of repute. Our diversification into medical electronics was initiated by the second generation. The third generation has now ventured out into further expansion of the business.

 

The Journey 
Bristol India, a family concern, was incepted for manufacturing Ink Writing Papers, technically known as Recording Charts. These were used primarily in powerhouses and steel plants. In a short span of two years, the company went on to produce High Technique Papers for Bhabha Atomic Research Center and also Papers for the Research Unit of the Indian Railways, known as R.D.S.O. (Research Designing Standard Organization). It was for the first time that an Indian company had developed Special Graph Papers for these organizations. Bristol went a step further to develop Special Graph Papers for Designing Purposes for the above organizations as well. By this time Bristol had become a well known name in the market and had established its products under the brand name "Alliance".

 

After successfully completing our expansion in the field of technical papers, we have diversified our operations into the field of medicine. Once again, we left an indelible mark in the market, when in the year 1984, our organization emerged as the only company to manufacture TMT papers in the field of Cardiology, under the brand name "Cardioprint". Today "Cardioprint" is a name that has become synonymous with International quality papers.
