Gondwana Ispat Ltd. (GIL), incorporated on 5th Oct, 2001 and which is a 100% subsidiary of B S Ispat Limited has also been allotted a coal block namely Majra Coal Mine, in Tahsil – Warora District - Chandrapur, Maharashtra.M/s. Gondwana Ispat Ltd was merged into B S Ispat Ltd under a scheme of amalgamation which was been approved by Hon’ble High Court vide order dated 04.07.2008. The coal mining assets of the company prior to merger have been valued by internationally renowned Validator M/s. Earnst & Young, and their combined valuation has been placed around.The promoters have been allotted Captive Iron Ore Mine from Govt. of Maharashtra, in the name of associate company. |

He is aged 57 years and has more than 35 years of experience in power cables and related industries. Mr. Daga has travelled extensively all over the world to USA, UK, and Europe & Far East several times. Mr. Daga is the scion of the famous Daga family of Nagpur. Daga Family is well known for its business in coal mining before Nationalization. He started his career as an entrepreneur by establishing Central Cables Ltd. Specializing in manufacture of various types of cables for special applications. He has wide experience in Project Management & Construction. He is enthusiastic entrepreneur and has shown result as a successful industrialist by the associations. His other involvements include :
* An active member of a number of Industry and Business Associations.
* Vidarbha Economic Development Council (VED) – Founder President.
* Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) – Past President, a very active association of industries in Vidarbha. He has been one of the instrumental contributors to its success. Also a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
